We are currently accepting resumes for a Circuit Pack Engineer (2924) in Whippany, New Jersey.
The selected candidate will perform the following duties:
• Perform detailed circuit board architecture, design and simulation
Required Skills and Experience:
• 5 years experience in Telecommunication Circuit Design
• Experience in Broadband Technologies-Experienced in Hardware Architecture
• Experienced in Hardware Circuit Pack Design and Development
• Processor Core and associated circuitry-ie. memory, control etc.
• Experienced in FW design and debug at the board level and the LINUX operating system
• Experienced in VHDL coding experience, FPGAs, CPLDs-Analysis and Simulation-Hardware Integration
• Strong knowledge base in technologies, devices and vendors pertinent to broadband access and telecom
• Experience in Telecom interfaces (SONET, ATM, Ethernet standards) and telecom transmission narrowband and broadband switching approaches
• Experience in processor development including MIPs and Network Processor (Motorola PPC, Wintegra Winpath)
Preferred Skills and Experience:
• Knowledge of DSL technologies (ADSL, VDSL) is a plus
• Familiarity with Xilinx and Altera families
