Test Engineers
(Positions available in San Diego and Chicago)
Scope
• Perform handset level software test of embedded multimedia software components and applications
• Perform white-box tests on product engine builds
• Execute test verification before release to customer
• Resolve issues with merges and builds
• Design, develop, and promote Test Strategy and Test Specifications
Requirements:
• BS in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
• Strong background in testing methodologies and testing harness development and maintenance
• Proven ability to create automated test tools and processes
• Working knowledge of C/C++
• Working knowledge of software configuration management tools
• Self-motivated and innovative with strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Preferred Qualifications - experience in any of the following areas:
• Experience with Ant, Make, and/or CruiseControl
• Unix, Perl, and/or Shell scripting languages
• Prior Experience with IBM/Rational ClearCase
