Job Description:
Testing UMTS voice and data components of our client's 3G UMTS system.
Designing test cases and authoring test plans for unit/system test based on functional specifications.
Developing scripts for automated regression testing.
Feature, system-level, scaling and performance testing.
Requirements:
4+ years experience testing wireless 3G UMTS systems or related components
Minimum Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
Familiarity with the functionality across different layers of a cellular wireless system and network
Related technologies: WiMAX, GSM, LTE, NGN, IMS, UE, SGSN, MSC
Prior experience creating test plans and test beds
Prior experience with UMTS testing tools
Prior experience in script development for purposes of test automation would be a plus
The candidate should have excellent written and oral communication skills as the position involves detailed interaction with multiple teams in multiple geographic locations
