Job Description:

We are looking for a Sr. Telefonica Account Manager based in the Madrid, Spain - dealing with major groups at Telefonica and someone who can leverage their knowledge to assist on the Telefonica account. Our client is a leader in Core Data Optimization/Compression and requires a strong technical background to compliment sales skills on the AM position.

This Account Manager will be responsible for managing the development of our client's business on the Core Network in both Data/Video Optimization. This is a senior role that will require the person to use their sales, technical and general management skills to develop and execute a sales plan for their key customers in the nominated markets.
Responsibilities may include, but not be limited to, the following:
• Development of sales strategy for assigned accounts in conjunction with Account Director
• All aspects for multi-million dollar personal pipeline management from lead generation, tender completion to successful closure of new business, including contract negotiations
• Achieve, and exceed, personal revenue targets for new and existing business
• Implement successful key account management processes for existing and new accounts
Requirements:
• 5yrs + experience selling into telecommunication operator industry, with a minimum of 3yrs senior account management experience within the mobile sector
• Extensive experience in key account strategic planning and team management
• Proven track record in meeting and exceeding sales quotas. Preference given to background in high end mission critical software application sales
• Excellent communication skills and ability to present to C level in key accounts. Fluent English/Spanish is required

Job Description:

A Pre-Sales manager is responsible for the entire sell cycle from the product and technical perspectives. Pre-Sales support the sales manager in the pre-sales and sales process by taking part and leading the related activities and by contributing to the process based on the knowledge of customer's environment and needs (presentations, demonstration, Solution engineering, Sales documentation, price quotations, etc.)

Our client is searching for a team oriented player who can work with the sales team as a subject matter expert who can understand the requirements, environment and strategic directions of the customer and the local competitive environment in order to lead successful pre-sales activities.

Primary Responsibilities

• Product demonstration and presentation - Prepare, Present and Demonstrate our client's products to prospect customers
• Solution Engineering - Listen to the customers, understand their problems and devise creative solutions, based on our customer's Products, partners and professional services
• RFX responses responsibility - write the solution sections, assure coherence and suitability of the entire response to the customer needs, defend the response
• Provide detailed specification and SOW for trials and new systems based on the customer needs. Efficiently hand-over them to the Delivery group.
• Work and communicate efficiently with the customer, internal and external resources in order to provide the best solution for the customer
• Pre-sales employee will be expected to attend marketing events, trade shows and relevant conferences as required, to help develop and deliver presentations and workshops at such events
• Enabling new sales opportunities by constantly collecting information about customer's new requirements, changes in customer's technical environment, about competitive situations

Requirements

• 2-5 years of experience in a presale position in the Telecom industry in LATAM region
• R&D background
• Mobile data & IP-Knowledge
• Deep Telecommunication knowledge
• Familiarity with the mobile market
• BS in a technical area
Skills and Personality
• Spanish or Portuguese as mother tongue, being able to read and write technical documents in Spanish/ Portuguese
• Fluent written and spoken English, Other languages - highly desirable
• Creativity - Ability to translating problems and ideas into opportunities and solutions
• Capability to function as an independent, self-motivated, and self-reliant who initiates appropriate actions and strategies and can work successfully without constant direction and close supervision.
• Ability to function effectively in hectic and fast-paced work environments through prioritization of multiple, and sometimes conflicting, demands in order to meet established deadlines

Job Description:

The Technical Support Experts (TSE) is an essential part of our client's deployment and Customer Support team.

The TSE is responsible for the Technical Set Up, Installation and Configuration. The deployment is within a complex and challenging networking environment n the mobile network. The TSE is responsible also for the technical support on customer site, or by mentoring and debugging deployments remotely.

The TSE should also handle incidents, problems and improvements for the on going technical SLA support on site or remotely, according to the need.
The TSE is a results driven person capable of working independently in analyzing and debugging various challenging conditions in the mobile network or within a team to resolve time critical deployment and production issues.

Duties and Principal Activities

Technical Skills:
• Proficient in UNIX/Linux System Administration, a must
• Highly Knowledgeable in TCP/IP networking, a must
• Familiar in mobile network technologies including l3-7 switching and load balancing, redundancy (A/P, A/A) and high performance systems
• Knowledgeable in customer support processes, tooling and troubleshooting.
• Familiar with the following protocols: HTTP, FTP, NTP.
• Knowledge of application servers, Weblogic/Jboss is an advantage
• Knowledge of Oracle and/or MySQL administration an advantage
• Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office

Job Description:

The Project Manager (PM) oversees all aspects of a project using planning, monitoring and controlling processes. The Project Manager is responsible for coordination and completion of the project and to this end will perform a variety of tasks including setting deadlines, assigning responsibilities, and monitoring and summarizing progress of the project. The Project Manager may be responsible for more than one project at a time.

PM will be responsible for the successful implementation of different solutions within large mobile operators. A project time-line normally spans over several months up to a year. The project manager is responsible for all activities, including project planning, review meeting with customers, provide guidance for the assigned support engineer. The job also consists of daily contact with the R&D team to report/discuss customer bug reports and feature requests.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Leading multi-disciplinary teams with participation from different functions within the organization and where appropriate, external sub-contractors
• To be Company's client representative for all matters relating to the implementation phase of any work undertaken
• To assist in identifying and responding to sales opportunities
• Planning and problem-solving tasks. The Project Manager is responsible for planning the project in order to accomplish its goals or produce the products required within constraints such as time, cost and agreed quality standards.
• The Project Manager must be courteous and polite in written and oral communication, and be able to get ideas across in a non-confrontational manner in one-to-one situations, small groups, and before large audiences.
• The Project Manager is responsible for the project's commitment to quality - also referred to as fitness for purpose or specification level, and may need to call on specialists to assist in creating or assessing quality standards.

REQUIREMENTS

Experience & Knowledge

• Proven project management experience gained in a telecommunications environment. Both Planning and execution.
• BSC (or higher) Engineering degree.
• Fluent English
• 5 or more years in managing complex implementation projects within large mobile operators. Implemented at least one service system in a mobile environment
• Very good technical knowledge of IP networks, HTTP protocols and Cellular topology.
• Good understanding of operating system concepts (UNIX and Windows).
• Previous hand-on technical experience is a big advantage
• Previous experience with web/TCP optimization is a big advantage.
• Languages - Very good English is mandatory.
• Preferred locations - WalnutCreek, California

• Without necessarily being an expert, the Project Manager should make an effort to understand the technology being used in order to understand and question requests coming from specialists and technical staff and to evaluate what is reasonable or possible
