Job Description
Electronic Search is seeking a Manager /Senior Mobile Application Engineer for our client to work with other developers, designers, and business managers to develop features and build applications for mobile devices. You must be able to pick up new languages and technologies quickly, be a strong team player, and rapidly adapt to changing business and customer demands. The ideal candidate will have experience building mobile applications (Objective C, Java).

Qualifications
• 5+ years experience with the software development cycle: product specification, design, implementation, QA, release, and maintenance.
• 2+ years professional experience in creating mobile applications to work on a wide variety of devices/browsers (including iPhone, Android, Blackberry and non-smartphones).
• Experience in creating mobile applications with Objective-C (iPhone, iPad) and/or Java (Android).
• Familiar with major productivity and design software packages (Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite).
• A strong sense of ownership and responsibility for code quality that follows best practices.
• A strong passion for learning and adapting to new technologies.
• Ability to multi-task and work under pressure.

Job Description:

This position will provide on-site technical support to Verizon.
Responsibilities will include:
- Monitor and manage the operational performance of our client's system deployed in the customer's environment
- Provide expertise for creating test scripts including both functional test and monitoring scripts using Story Boarder and VB scripting
- Provide expertise for creating and setting up reports using the Box Office tool and for developing custom SQL queries of the Projector data warehouse
- Provide Monitor Master training to customer staff
- Lead periodic status reviews and discussions with the customer regarding support and maintenance issues

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

Technical Requirements:
- Knowledge of wireless telecommunication technologies - GSM/UMTS, CDMA, TD-SCDMA, WiMAX, LTE
- Understanding of wireless data technologies (WAP, MMS, SMS, GPRS and Video Streaming)
- 3-5 years of field experience with a wireless operator in the engineering environment
- Previous experience with testing and monitoring platforms an advantage
- Computer and language skills
o Microsoft XP, Vista, Windows 7
o Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 Enterprise
o Scripting, C#, C and C++ syntax, VB Script
o Ability to perform and manage hardware and software installations

Personal Characteristics:
- 3-5 years working experience within similar environment

- Excellent technical ability

Our client is building out its Product Marketing team to propel the company to its next phase of growth. The Sr. Product Marketing position for Platform Applications is responsible for marketing our client's platforms for Mobile Core applications and services for 3G and emerging 4G networks. Our client's solutions have become the dominant platform for network performance and video user quality of experience management, with over 36 video optimization wins. This highly visible role will work closely with Marketing, Product Management, Sales and Engineering Architects to piece together go-to-market strategies, leveraging exceptional internal capabilities, knowledge of customer requirements and understanding of near term market trends to market our client's solutions for mobile packet core applications across the US, EMEA and Asia Pacific.

The role will be constituting and strengthening existing Product Marketing practices such as instituting a market-oriented approach, accelerating the sales cycle through programs, thought leadership and sales tools, competitive analysis and business case development.

The successful candidate must have a solid track record of launching products, developing customer mindshare, working closely with a fast moving field organization, building relationships with technical teams and providing exceptional feedback to Engineering and Architect teams for product development.
This position reports to the Director of Product Marketing.

Key Responsibilities:
• Become the internal marketing expert for integrating our client's mobile core solutions into the operator's policy framework with the purpose of developing new services (e.g. Tiered Services)
• Be the internal marketing expert for integrating our client's video delivery products into the mobile core
• Execute go-to-market activities (position, market and present) for our client's platforms targeted for the mobile core market
• Keep tract of the sales cycle of our client's solutions within Tier 1s and develop strategies to assist sales, product management and engineering to shorten the cycle
• Lead product launches in conjunction with product management for our client's platform applications
• Constitute a market-oriented approach for product development (MRD development) in a highly-technically oriented organization for mobile core. Work with Business Working Group to institute MRD discipline.
• Clearly articulate the business and technical value of our client's solutions to channel partners, customers, field sales
• Develop timely sales tools and programs for sales teams so they can be successful to position, sell and engage operators with the goal of expanding the company's presence in the mobile core, especially for new operator services (e.g. Tiered Services)
• Develop ROI models (CAPEX, OPEX) and business cases with assistance of product marketing team
• Extensively develop presentations
• Be the keeper, producer and go to source of information for competitive analysis
• Provide timely dissemination of our client's point-of-views for industry, competitive announcements within mobile core application and services space
• As internal expert for mobile core applications space, disseminate information regarding market trends and key activities of major vendors to engineering, product management and sales

Education and Work Experience:
• 10+ years product marketing or solutions marketing experience with demonstrated success in the service provider space with at least 3 years working for a successful mobile policy control company
• Strong understanding of 3GPP PCRF, PCEF and Tiered Services and trends
• Strong understanding or video delivery networks or transparent caching a plus
• High degree of flexibility and willingness to do what is required to ensure success
• Outstanding presentation, written and oral communications skills. Highly skilled in PPT and creating sales tools - white papers, presentations, business cases, ROI models
• Demonstrated thought leadership in mobile applications and services spaces
• Solid domain and technical knowledge - should be able to participate in technical discussions or conversations
• Superb understanding of mobile operator business models and services direction

Skills and Background

• Prior experience in selling system level products and services requiring complex strategic, solution selling skills.
• Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
• Excellent customer relations and sales process skills.
• Demonstrated track record of success in a similar role, and the ability to perform with minimal supervision.

Key accountabilities:

• Achievement of annual sales quota / targets
• Collect, analyze and provide accurate and timely reports and forecasts so as to provide a clear insight into progress made towards targets
• Understand the customer's objectives, buying criteria and decision making processes and form long term business partnerships

The Project Manager has prime responsibility for the lifecycle management of projects that fulfill commitments to deliver complex computer based applications to customers within the time, costs, quality standards and contractual obligations defined whilst managing risk for the company and the client. The key responsibilities of the role are:

• Successful planning and delivery of complex system integrated applications that meet the defined business and operational goals agreed with the customer. Includes appointment and management of all project personnel during the project lifecycle and ensuring all parties act as a team to achieve common objectives defined.

• Reporting of project progress to the Project Board / Steering Committee and all relevant parties. Actively driving senior management focus on the project.

• Manage and successfully conclude escalations, change controls and risks across all organization levels of all parties involved.

• Management of risk at all stages of the pre‐sales and post‐sales engagement including business, operational, technical, contractual, commercial, and resource issues.

• Reporting Profit & Loss performance ensuring that commercial and technical risk are minimized to achieve target project margin and that invoices are issued to the customer for the payment milestones achieved.

• Managing relationships with system integrators, partners, suppliers and other 3rd parties involved in a project. Setting and managing realistic expectations of all parties.

• Compliance with the company's project quality standards to manage projects according to the company's Project Methodology. Includes executing all phases of the project lifecycle including planning, development, integration, testing, customer acceptance, training & hand‐over to support.

The Project Manager is a key role and is responsible for the success of our projects. The role is vital in establishing and maintaining the company's reputation and credibility as a provider of effective solutions that meet a customer's operational and business needs.

Experience and Skills Required

• At least 10 years experience of delivering complex system integrated business application projects as part of a professional services organization in the telecommunications enterprise solutions market.
• Past experience in preferably more than one core role (e.g., consulting, project management and operations).
• Background in application software or good understanding of the development lifecycle and environment.
• Mandatory that the candidate has knowledge in delivering projects in the mobile network domain.
• Knowledge and experience of the RAN environment, and RF optimization techniques / principles would be a distinct advantage.
• Deep knowledge of the global mobile telecommunications market, specifically the tier one operator.
• Deep understanding of the direct and partner‐lead sales environment, culture and challenges for solution and service engagement sales.
• Experience and deep knowledge of planning, setting up and running complex system integration projects in customer environment delivered directly or with partners.

- Development of sales strategy for assigned accounts

- All aspects for multi-million dollar personal pipeline management from lead generation, tender
completion to successful closure of new business, including contract negotiations

- Achieve, and exceed, personal revenue targets for new and existing business

- Implement successful key account management processes for existing and new accounts

REQUIREMENTS:

- 7yrs + experience selling into telecommunication operator industry, with a minimum of 3yrs
senior account management experience within the mobile sector

- Extensive experience in key account strategic planning and team management

- Proven track record in meeting and exceeding sales quotas. Preference given to background in
high end mission critical software application sales

- Excellent communication skills and ability to present to C level in key accounts. Fluent English is required

Remuneration

Job Description
Electronic Search is seeking a Product Manager for our client.

The Product Manager is a new role in the recently created corporate R&D team. The individual will be responsible for applying Product Management best practices to accelerate exploration and introduction of innovative digital products and services in new consumer technology platforms (e.g. mobile and touchscreens).

The Product Manager will work closely with other members of the Digital Strategy team and Product Managers across the company worldwide. The individual will be expected to be passionate about new technologies and wear many hats: own parts of the R&D portfolio, contribute ideas, create UI mock-ups, produce rapid prototypes, manage external vendors and apply agile development practices.

We are seeking an individual who possesses a unique blend of business, user interface and technical experience with a successful Product Management track record. The candidate should have introduced a number of mobile or touchscreen products, spent some time as a developer, and demonstrated a passionate interest in exploring the possibilities of new technologies at work or as a hobby.


Qualifications
• At least 5 to 7 years of Product Management experience, with at least 3 years experience in mobile related ventures.
• Undergraduate or graduate technical degree is desired
• Excellent knowledge of mobile technologies and strong grasp of mobile trends
• Can balance the value of detail and perfection against the benefits of rapid, firsthand exploration
• Ability to balance & manage multiple projects simultaneously

As the platforms PM an individual must own the entire lifecycle of our client's Access Point and Router platforms:

• Establish and gain consensus around a product vision for the platforms
• Develop the business case for new products and propose them to senior management
• Deliver detailed market requirements to engineering
• Work with engineering, QA, and operations to meet requirements and, when needed, trade off features, cost and timing
• Work with corporate marketing to establish launch messaging, build launch plans and write collateral

Responsibilities:

• Driving product strategy, roadmap, definition, and requirements for our clients access point platforms
• Create product positioning and pricing.

• Assistance with viral marketing campaigns including but not limited to video, social media, forums, etc.
• Support SEs in strategic customer opportunities.
• Become a resource to the overall team as a wireless subject matter expert.

Experience and background:

• Detail oriented nature is a must
• Experience driving the business case analysis for new products is a must.
• Experience collecting product requirements from customers, resellers, partners and analysts is a must.
• Market Understanding of the networking market a must, wireless a plus.
• Product management experience at a networking vendor is a must
• Experience delivering hardware platforms is a must (including an understanding of regulatory compliance, supply chain logistics, and component tradeoffs.)
• A firm understanding of the enterprise IT market and buyer.
• Firm understanding of TCP/IP networking including routing, switching, and wireless a plus
• Technical background and education a plus
• MBA a plus.

As part of the sales engineering team, you will provide representation to prospects and customers for our client's solutions articulating their operational benefits and features. Primary activities will include customer presentations bids and proposal coordination as well as network design. You will manage our client's project implementations, providing installations and service readiness testing as required. You should have proven "hands on" experience. You will assist with the definition and championing of improvements in client's networking systems and software solutions.
Regional responsibility is the Southern Cone, Latin America (Argentina, Chile, Peru, Uruguay, Paraguay, and Bolivia)

SKILLS:

• Undergraduate degree in Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent
• 3 - 5+ years of networking experience with routing products and IP related technologies
• Project Management experience deploying large systems
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, subnetting, traffic flow, TCP/UDP traffic for P2P and Routing
• Installation, operation and configuration of any and all of the following: Cisco or Juniper routers/switches, Unix and/or BSD operating systems, firewall technologies
• Minimum of 2 years related experience in a highly technical product lab setting or operational network environment would be considered an asset
• Experience in Wireless data technologies (CDMA, GPRS or LTE)
• Knowledge of Wireless data network architecture including standards (3GPP, 3GPP2)
• Excellent troubleshooting and investigative skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Must be able to work independently and have a demonstrated ability to absorb new technologies
• Must possess strong presentation skills and be able to communicate professionally in written responses to emails, RFPs, and when submitting reports.
• Organized and analytical, able to eliminate sales obstacles through creative and adaptive approaches.

• Inventories all materials/supplies needed to continue new business efforts uninterrupted, including mailing pieces, agency brochure, agency newsletters and other promotional literature, letterhead, press release forms, etc., and alerts Production if there is a need to restock.
• Meets with agency Account Services team including President to keep them informed of new business opportunities gained from New Business effort; transfers prospect contact to President/Account Services team when agency is ready to "go" in.
• Adds input to marketing plans/proposals when prospect is elevated to account status; shares all available research and industry information for this purpose.
• Works with account team to understand opportunities to cross-sell services and ideas to build the business with them.
• Develops specific program ideas to "sell" to existing clients, in an effort to expand the agency's relationship with the clients.
• Identifies partnership opportunities for clients, with organizations both within and outside of the agency's client base.

Job Description
Electronic Search is seeking a Technical Project Manager for our client. The main role of the Technical Project Manager - Wireless Infrastructure is to define and get agreement on project plans with customers, and execute those plans, ensuring they are on time and within budget. Typical projects are wireless infrastructure product introductions, upgrades, and customizations.

The Technical Project Manager will have regular meetings with the customer and will manage all aspects of trials within the network, from initial requirements through lab test and integration to deployment and acceptance.

The Technical Project Manager will manage a small team of technical engineers, mainly in a lab or data center environment, with regard to the projects. The projects will involve new product introduction of infrastructure equipment, including software development, integration, and upgrade. Will provide regular reporting and communication with project stakeholders, including the customer.

Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree required. BSEE a plus
• PMP or other Project Management certification a plus.
• Proven Project Management experience of wireless network product development, introductions, and / or upgrades, ideally in a data center environment for release into a wireless operator's network.
• Experience delivering network equipment, including the software development and integration.
• Must have knowledge of the software development life cycle.
• UMTS project experience is a plus, including Radio Access Network deployment, upgrades.
• Experience putting processes into upgrades is a plus.

Compensation:
• 100 - 115K

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Professional Services Consultant leads projects on customer premise to design, implement and configure our client's Service Assurance solutions. Either as an individual contributor or a member of a team, the Consultant follows our client's methodology taking a methodical, end-to-end approach to IP communications testing and monitoring - first validating foundational elements - carrier to IP network - and each technology layer IVR, CTI, CRM, presence, chat, etc successively.

• Collaborate with customers on project objectives, and milestones for implementation, upgrades, and expansions; identify short-term and long-range issues; collect, evaluate, and communicate relevant information; identify and evaluate options; propose a course of action; review open issues and action items; expedite delivery and deployment of equipment;
• As Engagement Leader, deploy our client's solutions by preparing a detailed solution design, test plan, project scoping, and project plans. Complete installations by supervising contractors; inspecting sites; configuring, testing, validating, and approving systems, services, and equipment; resolving technical issues; guiding technicians to test, accept, and turn-up equipment; identifying and resolving integration/interface issues; programming software changes;

TECHNICAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• 7+ years technical exp IP telephony/VoIP, Contact Center, or Unified Communications,
• Test Automation knowledge preferred and experience with network testing tools (HP LoadRunner, QALoad, IBM Rational Robot)
• VoIP protocols SIP, H.323, SCCP
• Contact Center technologies: ACD, IVR, CTI, ICM is required; product knowledge of Avaya, Genesys, Cisco, Siebel is a plus;
• IP telephony Network Infrastructure - Switch, VP, CTI, SBC, media gateways
• Scripting: Visual Basic, Java, Ruby, XML/VXML, .NET framework is a plus
• Systems Performance Monitoring Tools knowledge (HP OpenView, BMC Patrol, IBM Tivoli etc.

Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute the mobile platform strategy and mobile product portfolio roadmap
• Serve as a content expert and source of mobile platform and software as a service (SaaS) knowledge relative to data and analytics including providing environmental assessment on emerging trends, competitive intelligence, product comparison, product positioning and alternative business approaches
• Drive adoption of mobile devices both internally and externally through training, tips, tricks and recommendation of best apps for given activities
• Coordinate and collaborate with IDS Vice Presidents, Novation business units and the alliances to identify supply chain data product mobile application needs
• Provide financial modeling to determine potential business impact and market effectiveness of new mobile product and services offerings
• Identify and direct the development of innovative, hospital-facing mobile products and services that support the business strategy and maximize corporate performance
• Ensure all mobile products deployed to target markets are compliant with market requirements (e.g. regulatory, confidentiality requirements)
• Drive and manage all aspects of the mobile products lifecycle, including user needs collection, strategy development, product requirements definition, marketing plan development and enhancement / release planning
• Direct efforts of both internal and external development (e.g. third party service providers / consultants) activity to meet deadlines and budget requirements
• Set and track key performance indicators. Monitor routine metrics as well as identify and measure the impact of new features and enhancements
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in information systems, business or related degree required. MBA or post-graduate degree preferred
• Deep understanding of the mobile industry and a minimum 3 years of mobile product and platform experience, specifically mobile web and iOS (iPhone, iPad)
• Technical understanding of the web formats, feed types, media types and a general understanding of how the various elements of digital products work together
• Conceptual familiarity of mobile networks, carrier environments, messaging protocols, and application development environment
• Demonstrated ability to gather user and business requirements and translate them into a successful product vision
• Experience in translating users business needs into technical requirements
• Proven ability to prioritize feature releases based on business and customer impact / demand and organize them into a product roadmap
• Strategic product portfolio management experience and a demonstrated ability to define, prioritize, model and deliver best in class mobile products and features
• Strong analytical skills a must with experience in setting key performance indicators, goal-metrics and reporting
• Experience in developing and leading technical teams
• Demonstrated success in working collaboratively within a matrixed environment and ensuring the alignment of multiple stakeholders' needs
• Familiarity with agile development methodology
• Effective use of online collaboration tools for maximum team efficiency

• Support with customer IOT.

Qualifications
• BSEE or related Engineering degree.
• Strong understanding and experience with 3GPP technologies.
• Experience with base station technologies.
• Proficient in interpretation of ETSI / 3GPP specifications (Rel99/Rel5/Rel6) and devising relevant tests strategies.
• Skilled in Linux administration and kernel configuration.
• Familiar with scripting.
• Good understanding of networking issues, especially when related to the TCP/IP protocol.
• Ability to interpret protocol message traces and use them to diagnose problems.
• Practical experience of IP networking, including configuration of routers, DHCP servers, and working knowledge of TCP/IP and networking in general.
• Familiar with real-time multi-processor, multi-threaded, event-driven software..
• Familiar with high availability Linux based systems, preferably Wind River.
• Familiar with Advanced Telecom Computing Architecture (ATCA) hardware platform.
• Customer facing experience with strong communication skills.
• Experienced in a lab environment.
• Experience with microcells or picocells is a plus.
• Able to work independently.

Duties
• Planning: Have proven experience with the AT&T wireless terminal development and testing community. All support process of device testing and approval i.e.: Review of operators testing requirements and match with performance specs of proposed device, align device operating systems, device applications, software calibration/loading, trouble shoot issues and resolve within the operating protocols of the device. Social Network Media integration and communication to engineering groups as required. Schedule and maintain test plans with AT&T and required vendors per device.
• Manage Testing Approval Process: Provide direction and support the TA complete process of each device and in-line with launch schedule. Manage testing process, validation process, certification process compatibility concerns, product launch events, and manage multiple reports in relation to the TA department. Manage the AT&T testing process, procedures, timelines, documents including but not limited to; 10776, 17650, 13340, 13289, 15536, 14782, 14892, 16411, 13340. Understand AT&T device classifications including but not limited to; MV1, MV2, MV3, MV4 with HW, SW, DSP, Mechanical and Acoustic measurements. Manage AT&T SEMC requirements and all Regulatory testing certifications including but not limited to; TTY, HAC, IEEE1725/1625, FCC, SAR, R&TTE (EMC/ESD, Spectrum, Safety), PTCRB, CTIA, OTA, BTQ. Have a high level of Creativity, efficient processes; execute tasks, trouble shoot issues and manage to resolve
• Customer Support: Streamline. Manage day to day communication with AT&T's product testing group, 3rd party testing labs and all internal departments with the goal of achieving an on-time TA. Manage all communication as it relates to product testing/homologation process before, during and after the launch responsible for the direct communication to the customer, internal support teams and external testing/network vendors. Establish quality auditing process to better enhance testing process to the end customer/operator. Support sales activities, client relations, coordinate all pre-sales technical support for client, visit onsite product testing activities, tradeshows. Sync and align local US Team with global support to deliver a defined process to manage on time TA cycles/product launches.

Qualifications
• A complete understanding of entire eco system of mobile device homologation process, technical acceptance, commercialization device requirements, industry certifications, lab testing management, field testing, network validation, drive test, trace logs, network testing equipment, network optimization and all pre-production quality standards of the US Market and AT&T Wireless.
• Bachelor degree or equivalent experience in related field
• Engineering, Technical experience in related field, Product Development, Software Development, Mobile Phone Operating System's and 3rd party integration
• Must be professional, accessible and flexible to the changing needs of the department, Must work well in a solo team environment, capable of handling fast paced situations, self starter, organized and manages time well.
• Excellent Customer Service, verbal and written communication skills, quality commitment, strong interpersonal skills and adaptability. Willing to grow and keep pace within wireless industry.
• Portfolio of projects completed within other OEM'S and Operators around the US Market
• Must be proficient in the Microsoft office suite of tools including: Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook also be able to use understand and maintain mobile phone related software.

Responsibilities:

We seek an experienced Account Manager handling Tier 2 / Tier 3 Carriers. Our client requires a seasoned individual to sell their portfolio of Wireless Infrastructure software to MetroPCS and other smaller Wireless Operators' accounts.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Plan, forecast, monitor and drive the sales pipeline within agreed accounts across the region to exceed plan objectives
• Maximize performance on sales, revenue, customer acquisition, retention and satisfaction
• Work closely with our client's other teams to devise tactical plans to support the sales process
• Maintain close collaboration with Customer Support and Engineering organizations, ensuring that timely customer feedback is given as well as customer commitments are met
• Create and execute annual business plans to effectively integrate with company plans and operations
• Maintain a high degree of understanding of the product line and ensure company strategies reflect the needs of customers

Our client has openings for Implementation Engineers to project manage deployments of their cutting edge Test and Measurement products and Service Assurance Analytics into 3G/4G networks - mobile, mobile broadband, Mobile core and SS7 Core monitoring, and IP Video service provider networks.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Implementation Engineers are responsible for project managing the deployment of our client's monitoring equipment into 3G/4G carrier networks and VoIP service providers. The Engineer manages the project from sales order entered by Account team to acceptance test plan (ATP). Implementation Engineers work collaboratively with customers to meet contractual obligations in a professional services role and set and manage customer expectations to ensure that product deployments are successfully completed on time and meet technical, business and operational expectations.

The Implementation Engineer initiates activity by conducting a thorough review of the sales order created by our client's Sales Account team, validating the purchased configurations, site requirements, and network infrastructure with the customer. The Engineer utilizes this information and their engagements with the customer to develop a project implementation plan and Statement of Work (SOW) to ensure a successful deployment. Throughout the project lifecycle, the Engineer monitors and drives to established implementation milestones, and participates in client status calls to ensure that projects remain on schedule. The Engineer completes the engagement by verifying the completion of ATP and finalizes projects with customer acceptance.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Expert-level knowledge of VOIP-based Telephony architectures and hands-on experience with the implementation, configuration and testing of carrier-grade equipment using VoIP protocols (SIP, H.323, MGCP, H.248)
• Working experience with TDM networking (T1/ISDN/SS7, etc.)
• Experience with QA procedures, Interoperability testing
• Project Management experience with multiple simultaneous priorities
• Self-directed, self-motivated, professional services traits - excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven track record in expanding knowledge of networks and network architectures.
• BS degree in CS, CE, Telecommunications,

Our client is looking for someone in Seattle who has some experience with the T-Mobile Account and understands the culture there. They are looking for someone who has supported a messaging product to T-Mobile in the past and can leverage their knowledge to "farm" the account. This isn't a "hunter" role as the business is already won, it's more of a "farming" role for someone to stabilize the business.

This Key Account Manager will be responsible for managing the development of our client's new and existing accounts in the USA. This is a senior role that will require the person to use their sales, technical and general management skills to develop and execute a sales plan for their key customers in the nominated markets.

• Development of sales strategy for assigned accounts

REQUIREMENTS:
• 7yrs + experience selling into telecommunication operator industry, with a minimum of 3yrs senior account management experience within the mobile sector

• Proven track record in meeting and exceeding sales quotas. Preference given to background in high end mission critical software application sales

Our client seeks an experienced Solutions Architect to engage with some of the world's largest service providers - Tier 1 carrier network operators and Multi Service Operators implementing 4G mobile broadband networks. The Solution Architect will act as consultative, trusted advisor to create Service Assurance solutions, balancing goals of quality, feasibility, cost-effectiveness for customers and profitability for company.

Reporting to the VP of Product Management, and contributing as a senior member of the CTO office, the Solutions Architect will assimilate customer requirements, create solutions, assemble costs, and participate in business case analysis. As the primary interface with Sales and Product Management, the Solutions Architect is responsible for being the thought leader on Mobile Broadband 4G networks, is solutions focused, and will be the product expert who fully understands the risks and opportunities of NGN Service Assurance solutions.

The Solutions Architect is an individual contributor, who will travel frequently (50%+) predominantly in the Americas, to engage with customers and participate in technical symposiums. The position is based in Bedford, MA.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Solutions Architect will be involved in wide scope of pre-sales and post-sales activities including customer meetings, technical presentations, RFI / RFP support, and solution design for trial and production deployments.

• Technology Leadership: Mobile Broadband architecture and roadmap presentation to customers, channel and business partners

• System Requirements Gathering: Review customer business requirements as developed by sales and sales engineering. Clarify ambiguous requirements with sales or clients, ensuring the solution resolves underlying customer issues. Interacts with Sales, Sales Engineers, Product Management, Professional Services and Customers on large deals for specific products with a high level of complexity.

• Solution Development, Estimating, & Planning: Analyze customer business needs and develop multi-phase, multiyear solutions based on knowledge of customer networks capabilities and performance requirements. Develop total cost, risk, and implementation models with Product Management, Sales and R&D.

• Systems Architecture: Convert customer requirements into a solution architecture that fits into carrier 4G networks requiring the creation of custom software for use between the target system and existing systems.

• Project Management: Work with customers and Services group to ensure successful deployment of projects.

• Technologies: Maintain advanced knowledge of Next-generation architectures and technologies such as MBB, LTE, RAN, SS7, VoIP, IMS and 3GPP, 3GPP2 standards and provide thought leadership to R&D regarding Service Assurance solutions requirements

REQUIREMENTS

The Solutions Architect must possess deep pockets of technical knowledge as well as a broad understanding of industry dynamics, many technologies and approaches. The SA must demonstrate a track record and the capability to understand the business problem, effective communications and can normally create a solution that hurdles many obstacles to achieve a mutually accepted notion of success in terms of high performance solutions.

• Technical Knowledge: Expert understanding of 2G, 3G, 4G networks and 3GPP and 3GPP2, standards. Must have experience with Tier 1 carrier networks at expert level. Expert understanding of technical terminology related to Service Assurance products and services.

• Communication: Advanced written and verbal communication skills. Must have the ability to build relationships over the phone. Must be able to independently develop relationships and communicate with high level customer technical staff.

• Problem Solving: Expert problem solving skills and ability to methodically understand and resolve complex issues. Must demonstrate the ability to focus ambiguous customer needs into specific, deliverable requirements. Must demonstrate the ability to extract hidden or unrealized customer requirements and gain consensus on these requirements with the customer. Must demonstrate creative solution development.

• Work Style: Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Must be able to build strong team relationship and easily transfer technical information. Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines. Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, including projects created by other team members. Must be very detail oriented and demonstrate a high degree of accuracy.

• 10+ years of experience as an architect or product manager in the telecommunications industry

• 7+ years of relevant experience in the wireless industry, performing technical sales to carriers and/or OEMs on the core network

Job Description:

The Project Manager (PM) oversees all aspects of a project using planning, monitoring and controlling processes. The Project Manager is responsible for coordination and completion of the project and to this end will perform a variety of tasks including setting deadlines, assigning responsibilities, and monitoring and summarizing progress of the project. The Project Manager may be responsible for more than one project at a time.

PM will be responsible for the successful implementation of different solutions within large mobile operators. A project time-line normally spans over several months up to a year. The project manager is responsible for all activities, including project planning, review meeting with customers, provide guidance for the assigned support engineer. The job also consists of daily contact with the R&D team to report/discuss customer bug reports and feature requests.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Leading multi-disciplinary teams with participation from different functions within the organization and where appropriate, external sub-contractors
• To be Company's client representative for all matters relating to the implementation phase of any work undertaken
• To assist in identifying and responding to sales opportunities
• Planning and problem-solving tasks. The Project Manager is responsible for planning the project in order to accomplish its goals or produce the products required within constraints such as time, cost and agreed quality standards.
• The Project Manager must be courteous and polite in written and oral communication, and be able to get ideas across in a non-confrontational manner in one-to-one situations, small groups, and before large audiences.
• The Project Manager is responsible for the project's commitment to quality - also referred to as fitness for purpose or specification level, and may need to call on specialists to assist in creating or assessing quality standards.

REQUIREMENTS

Experience & Knowledge
• Proven project management experience gained in a telecommunications environment. Both Planning and execution.
• BSC (or higher) Engineering degree.
• Fluent English
• 5 or more years in managing complex implementation projects within large mobile operators. Implemented at least one service system in a mobile environment
• Very good technical knowledge of IP networks, HTTP protocols and Cellular topology.
• Good understanding of operating system concepts (UNIX and Windows).
• Previous hand-on technical experience is a big advantage
• Previous experience with web/TCP optimization is a big advantage.
• Languages - Very good English is mandatory.
• Preferred locations - WalnutCreek, California

Responsibilities:
• Overall near and long term business model for mobile initiatives
• Partner with division leaders to successfully deliver on product vision through the creation and effective ongoing development of world-class, highly differentiated technology offerings
• Lead efforts to determine how to monetize, differentiate, and grow the company*s offering in mobile applications
• Conduct research to understand market sizing & competition; Developing a compelling point of view related to positioning of Company products vis-a-vis markets and competition
• Using expertise to propose, evaluate and develop new business opportunities
• Participating in strategy and business operations planning

Requirements:
• Strong business acumen - ability to think strategically & having a strong handle on the market, industry and competitive dynamics, and relating the same to generate a compelling product direction
• Strong communication skills - understanding the needs of the audience and persuading the audience through insights and communicating the same effectively through written, oral and presentation skills
• 12+ years of experience in a product management or equivalent role preferably in enterprise software, SaaS, and Mobile related experience is required
• Domain Experience in Mobile Applications (financial related services is a plus)
• Strong awareness of technology trends and potential influence on the strategic goals of the business
• Demonstrated ability to drive product planning, development, and launch proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously

• Be an expert with respect to the competition
• Act as a leader within the company

Required experience and knowledge

• Minimum of 3 years experience as a Product Manager, and total of 5 years in a role involving networking
• Demonstrated success defining and launching excellent products for the mobile carrier market
• Minimum of two year experience with wireless products, including some exposure to WiFi technology, but background in licensed wireless products acceptable.
• In-depth knowledge of mobile carrier (MNOs) networks and architecture, familiarity with 3GPP/3GPP2 specifications, Mobile Packet Core, GGSN/SGSN, etc.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Bachelor's degree, with an advanced technical or business degree desirable.
• Technical background, with experience in networking, wireless preferred
• Excellent teamwork skills
• Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
• Proven ability to work in a fast-changing environment

Responsibilities:
• Assume primary responsibility for the success of our client's products; achieve revenue, profit and market share goals
• Play a leadership role in driving the inbound Product Management function for all our client's product lines, contributing to the product strategy and roadmap
• Manage and evolve our client's Product Development Lifecycle process
• Drive product requirements and associated documents
• Lead the Technical Working Group to define and manage new product development

Required Qualifications:

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Act as subject-matter expert (SME) on our client's Service Assurance products and serve as authoritative consultant to customers and partners

• Troubleshoot technical issues and problems using analytical methods to identify root cause. Problem analysis and data gathering including packet trace in support of escalated issues

REQUIREMENTS:
• 5+ years experience in technical support role, working in the telecommunications space.
• Outstanding customer service attitude with excellent communication, organization, and telephone technical support skills is an absolute must
• Proven ability to work as part of a team with a total commitment to customer service/satisfaction
• Demonstrated track record of taking ownership of projects and improving processes to improve the customer experience with Technical Support
• Debugging complex systems and proven ability to make rapid technical assessments along with a track record of technical problem resolution
• Knowledge of Layer 1 & 2 protocols and related standards including TCP/IP, Ethernet, LAN, WAN, and IP routers
• Knowledge of VoIP architectures and Layer 7 Application protocols and associated standards: SIP, H.323, IMS, MGCP, Megaco (H.248) and SS7 Core (ISUP, MAP, CAMEL)
• Experience with Network troubleshooting and analysis tools (Wireshark/Ethereal etc.) Hammer product training a plus

We are seeking a dynamic individual with a moderate amount of sales and consultancy experience in Circuit & Packet Switched network domains and good understanding of mobile core network technologies. The candidate will support the Regional Sales Director to qualify opportunities, conduct demonstrations, propose solutions to customers, and after deployment of our client's solutions into customer carrier network, provide consultancy for high level technologies and applications support.

This position reports to the Regional Sales Director, South-East Asia. The candidate will reside in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and travel 70%.

Responsibilities:
The Systems Engineer will be fully trained in our client's product line and be trained and supported to operate as our client's SME in this rapidly growing territory. As a pre-Sales and post-Sales technical resource, working within a global team of sales, marketing and engineering professionals, the Systems Engineer will present solutions to customers with the goal of securing business, and provide technical consultancy services to established accounts with the goal of ensuring 100% customer satisfaction.

• Qualify sales opportunities and determine technical fit for our client's solutions.
• Develop answers to RFP-style requests and ensure the final bid proposal can be technically delivered in a timely and profitable manner.
• Field demonstrations of our client's products - Organize, manage, and execute on-site customer evaluations of Our client's portfolio of Service Assurance products.
• As SME and Technical Consultant provide diagnostic and trouble shooting of telecom networks, and provide customers information and analysis of results generated by Our client's systems and products
• Document product problems and feature requests, communicate them internally and work with a global engineering team for resolution.

Requirements:
• BS Engineering - preferably Computer Science or Telecommunications
• 3+ years telco industry as technical consultant, sales engineer or technical support
• Knowledge of telecom protocols, networks and topologies including 2G, 2.5G & 3G mobile technologies, TDM, SS7, IP, Mobile Broadband (MBB) and NGN.
• Must know equipment architecture and deployment approach of main vendors including Nokia Siemens Networks, Ericsson, Alcatel-Lucent and Huawei with ability to describe the entire processes from authentication, location and mobility, messaging, calling and data exchange.
• Strong and proven knowledge of 2G, 3G mobile voice and data procedures including Radio Access Network, Circuit and Packet Switching domains, and signaling core.
• Programming experience in Visual Basic would be an advantage
• Proven ability to work independently without significant supervision.

Requirements:

• Demonstrated understanding of project management principles and
concepts from 3-5 years of experience in a project management role

• Understanding of the wireless telecommunication environment with a
focus on RF engineering and quality of service testing (Voice, SMS,
MMS, FTP, HTTP, WAP, etc.) - able to grasp technical details
• Highly organized individual with ability to coordinate activities, effectively
communicate project status both verbally and in writing
• Ability to drive both customers and internal resources to timely
completion of project tasks
• Self-motivated, self-starter focused and driven to achievement of team's

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Implementation Engineers are responsible for project managing the deployment of our client's monitoring equipment into 3G/4G carrier networks and VoIP service providers. The Engineer manages the project from sales order entered by Account team to acceptance test plan (ATP). Implementation Engineers work collaboratively with customers to meet contractual obligations in a professional services role and set and manage customer expectations to ensure that product deployments are successfully completed on time and meet technical, business and operational expectations.

The Implementation Engineer initiates activity by conducting a thorough review of the sales order created by the our client's Sales Account team, validating the purchased configurations, site requirements, and network infrastructure with the customer. The Engineer utilizes this information and their engagements with the customer to develop a project implementation plan and Statement of Work (SOW) to ensure a successful deployment. Throughout the project lifecycle, the Engineer monitors and drives to established implementation milestones, and participates in client status calls to ensure that projects remain on schedule. The Engineer completes the engagement by verifying the completion of ATP and finalizes projects with customer acceptance.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Expert-level knowledge of VOIP-based Telephony architectures and hands-on experience with the implementation, configuration and testing of carrier-grade equipment using VoIP protocols (SIP, H.323, MGCP, H.248)

• Working experience with TDM networking (T1/ISDN/SS7, etc.)

• Experience with QA procedures, Interoperability testing

• Project Management experience with multiple simultaneous priorities

• Self-directed, self-motivated, professional services traits - excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.

The Project Manager (PM) oversees all aspects of a project using planning, monitoring and controlling processes. REQUIREMENTS:

Experience & Knowledge
• Proven project management experience gained in a telecommunications environment. Both Planning and execution.
• BSC (or higher) Engineering degree.
• Fluent English
• 5 or more years in managing complex implementation projects within large mobile operators. Implemented at least one service system in a mobile environment
• Very good technical knowledge of IP networks, HTTP protocols and Cellular topology.
• Good understanding of operating system concepts (UNIX and Windows).
• Previous hand-on technical experience is a big advantage
• Previous experience with web/TCP optimization is a big advantage.
• Languages - Very good English is mandatory.
• Preferred locations - Walnut Creek, California

Technical Skills:

The Implementation Engineer initiates activity by conducting a thorough review of the sales order created by the our client's Sales Account team, validating the purchased configurations, site requirements, and network infrastructure with the customer. The Engineer utilizes this information and their engagements with the customer to develop a project implementation plan and Statement of Work (SOW) to ensure a successful deployment. Throughout the project lifecycle, the Engineer monitors and drives to established implementation milestones, and participates in client status calls to ensure that projects remain on schedule. The Engineer completes the engagement by verifying the completion of ATP and finalizes projects with customer acceptance.

• Expert-level knowledge of VOIP-based Telephony architectures and hands-on experience with the implementation, configuration and testing of carrier-grade equipment using VoIP protocols (SIP, H.323, MGCP, H.248)

Job Description:
Acting as a part of a small team in a growing and exciting startup, the Product Manager is responsible for in depth understanding of the assigned market, including customer needs, competition and technology. The Product Manager drives product planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle, which include: gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the features, and working closely with engineering, sales, marketing and support to first achieve executive buy-in for a product, and then be the champion to ensure our client's product is launched and supported across the company. The Product Manager's job includes significant field sales and customer interaction.

The Product Manager is expected to:
• Act as a champion within the company for Wireless Broadband Access customer requirements
• Take overall feature specification & implementation responsibility for network management and assigned products
• Act as spokesperson and interface to prospect/customers for headquarters briefings and other first/key interactions between prospects and the company.
• Deliver MRDs and PRDs with prioritized features and corresponding justification
• Recommend list pricing, with accompanying competitive and margin analysis
• Run beta and pilot programs with early-stage products and samples
• Lead/drive product positioning, go-to-market activities, and sales training
• Be an expert with respect to the competition
• Act as a leader within the company
Required experience and knowledge
• Minimum of 3 years experience as a Product Manager, and total of 5 years in a role involving networking
• Demonstrated success defining and launching excellent products for the wireless broadband access market including APs, CPEs, and network management
• Minimum of two year experience with wireless products, including some exposure to WiFi technology, but background in licensed wireless products acceptable.
• Experience in defining and launching products into emerging markets (e.g. SE Asia, India, Latin America, ...)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Bachelor's degree, with an advanced technical or business degree desirable.
• Technical background, with experience in network management, networking, wireless preferred
• Excellent teamwork skills
• Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
• Proven ability to work in a fast-changing environment
• Must be able to travel 25% of the time
• Examples and at least one sample of an effective document delivered in the past

We seek an outstanding Network Sales Engineer to partner with the Sales team in reaching revenue goals through providing quality pre-sales technical support and presentations focused on articulating value to the customer. The Sales Engineer will work remotely in the Chicago area. In this role, you will represent our client's products as the product solutions expert, insuring technical excellence in support of the sales process.

This individual will report to the Regional Sales Manager. This person will be required to have significant interaction and consultation with customers and must have a solid understanding of the sales cycle and working with the Sales teams throughout the process.

This person must have experience working with customers to understand their technical challenges and requirements and to effectively propose desired solutions. Having had past success in a very fast-paced, high growth company.

Strong Networking and desired Linux/Windows software knowledge. Develop account sales strategies with the Account Manager. Investigate the prospects organizational hierarchy at the lower level and advise the Sales Teams. Assist the Sales Teams in making tactical decisions regarding the sale.
Identify compelling events or specific business problems and offer attractive solutions to the client.

Provide expert consultation to the prospect/customer in our client's 'best practices' techniques. Account responsibility for all lead technical activities. This includes building relationships across customer's IT silos to document their infrastructure and understand their challenges and seek out potential projects. The SE will also directly assist Sales teams in achieving financial targets via the sales process and assisting sales in accurately assessing and forecasting opportunities, as well as create and deliver PoCs, complex demos, etc., for customers.

REQUIREMENTS:

The Sales Engineer will need a minimum of 5+ years networking pre-sales technical support experience. Cultural familiarity with and experience in doing business within the Region is critical.
Strong experience in Networking with past experience as an Application Engineer or Sales Engineer. The individual must also possess technical skills that relate to these areas:

Cisco (must)
TCP/IP, SNMP, Netflow, VoIP
Various topologies, LAN, WAN (MPLS, Frame, ATM)
Trend analysis concepts
eBusiness concepts
Network infrastructure concepts
Network General knowledge
HP/OV, Tivoli, Mercury a plus
Network performance management
Fault/Alert management
nGenius product experience is an advantage
Operating systems (Linux, NT)
Certification CCNA, CCNP, CCIE a plus

Willing to travel up to 50-75% within the territory, carrying a laptop. Occasional travel outside of the Region.

Computer Science or Software Engineering Degree (BS/BA or equivalent)
Formal presentation training.
