As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for increasing revenues directly with wireless carrier customers, developing new carrier accounts and building new sales channel relationships.
This contract-to-hire position is located in San Jose, CA.
The Business Development/Account Manager responsibilities include:
— Manage and grow some existing accounts.
— Gather market intelligence and use various prospecting methods to identify new prospective customers and market opportunities, including new channel sales partnerships.
— Assess prospect needs and effectively pitch appropriate Xringer offerings.
— Develop and present proposals for customized wireless entertainment solutions.
— Work effectively with product management and marketing to develop proposals for new product offerings to carriers, promote existing products and ensure marketing campaigns are aligned with account management goals.
— Communicate to marketing and development teams new product requirements from customers.
— Close sales with carriers and partners and ensure effective follow through on Xringer delivery.
— Ensure customer satisfaction is met or exceeded.
— Leverage client satisfaction and client relationships to grow existing accounts. Build long term relationships to ensure strong revenue pipeline.
— Bachelors degree required; MBA preferred.
— 3+ years of directly relevant business development experience employed with a wireless software company, wireless carrier or entertainment company.
— Sales experience into wireless carrier accounts.
— Ability to sell high value custom software solutions and establishing long-term relationships with wireless carriers and top brands.
— Possess some knowledge of the wireless applications markets and wireless carriers.
— Be self-motivated and driven, with high energy levels, a strong desire to excel and play an active role in shaping the future of the organization.
— Have demonstrable experience of effectively selling at Director to CXO levels.
— Ability to work with cross-functional teams and individuals at various levels in a distributed environment.
— Strong verbal, written, analytical and interpersonal skills.
— Travel required (25-50% depending on account activity).
— Authorized to work in the United States.
