Position Scope
Develop high performance embedded multimedia software using Java 2 MicroEdition (J2ME)
Implement and optimize multimedia framework, file format, and streaming protocols in Java on embedded real-time operating systems
Design scalable software architectures in a process-oriented development environment
Interact closely with a diverse and energetic team of software developers
Requirements
BS or higher degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science
3 or more years experience in embedded software development
Expertise in Embedded Java Development
Proficiency in C/C++ development on General Purpose Processors
System-level architecture design perspective
Understanding of Product Lifecycle Processes
Working knowledge of software configuration management tools
Excellent communication skills
Preferred Qualifications – experience in any of the following areas:
Embedded RTOS’s such as Symbian, WindowsCE, Nucleus, pSOS, micro-ITRON, or embedded Linux
J2ME Configurations and Profiles, such as CLDC, MIDP and associated Java Spec Requests (JSRs)
Streaming protocols such as SIP, RTP, RTSP
Multimedia file formats (AVI, MP4, ASF) and transport protocols
