PacketVideo: Embedded Software Engineer, San Diego, CA
Position Scope
Develop high performance embedded multimedia software for wireless handheld devices.
Document, design and implement user interface applications from human interface specifications on embedded devices on Brew, Symbian, and Microsoft, Smartphone environments.
Interface application to PacketVideo middleware and OS system drivers.
Perform system integration tasks with other application in mobile phone environment and back-end infrastructure (e.g., streaming multimedia servers, authentication servers, etc.).
Perform complex software coding assignments using knowledge of Visual C/C++ and wireless communication protocols.
Requirements
BS in EE/CE/CS or related engineering degree plus 3 yrs of developing embedded SW for wireless networks/devices.
Background in:
Symbian OS
BREW SDR
Wireless communication protocols
