The company pioneered the single price point subscription model which offers a simple, straightforward method for subscribers to gain access to a unique value of mobile media downloads including: ringtones, wallpapers, games, chat, text alerts and more. The company’s service is available on over 20 carriers worldwide. DADAmobile is currently looking for innovative business development talent to help lead the company in new areas of mobile business.
The Role & Responsibilities
The Business Developent Director, France will be responsible for local development of Dadamobile’s Mobile Value Added Services. Reporting to Dadamobile’s Regional Director, Europe, the Business Development Director, France will play a key role in helping achieve Dadamobile’s business objectives in the country, take responsibility for the relationship with Mobile Operators, Content Partners and local media agencies, while ensuring that the opportunities presented by the market are exploited in an optimal way. Specific responsibilities include:
Market Positioning:
— Understanding the Country’s market potential for Mobile VAS, key characteristics and competitive landscape
— Developing a unique positioning and for our products and services offering
— Ensuring our Dadamobile product is adapted to local customs and trends
— Determining the optimal price points and service offering
— Determining the optimal investment strategy and media mix
— Developing Dadamobile’s relationship with Mobile Operators, aggregators and Content Providers
Distribution. Drive number of subscribers and net ARPU up significantly from their current level both by effecting product improvements and by:
— Negotiating on-deck presence on mobile operator’s portals
— Optimizing Investment in Web, Wap and other media
— Real-time monitoring of business indicators and determination of the optimal media mix between TV; Print and Web, and, within Web campaigns, between CPC, CPA and CPM campaigns, with the goal of minimizing customers’ Cost of Acquisition, while monitoring the quality of acquired customers through statistical determination of their lifetime value..
The role will be based in Paris, France and involve at least Monthly travel to Dadamobile’s headquarter in Florence, Italy.
The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will be committed to achieve and exceed the business objectives, while keeping a growth-oriented attitude. He/She will have a strong business sense, ability to deal with business modelling, KPI tracking and real-time thinking. He/she will have a strong distribution and product marketing background and a track record of envisioning strategies and executing tactics that add value to the bottom line. This will have been gained either directly in Mobile Value Services or in a consumer online or related product/service environment. Commercially astute, the ideal candidate will also have a solid business background and be capable of maximizing the company’s return on investment.
On a personal level, he/she needs to be extremely bright but well rounded. Moreover the individual will need to be able to operate within Dadamobile’s unique culture and share its values. Finally, the ideal candidate will also have strong inter-personal and communication skills, and the ability to effectively manage relationships with Mobile Operators and local partners.
