We have an opening for a Business Analyst/Project Manager in our Customer Operations department located in North San Diego County. The candidate will be required to perform hands-on project management roles; post sales requirements gathering, as well as managing the project office, which will be responsible for the coordination of all DRM Client Service projects worldwide. Each of our customer’s requirements is unique, providing new and challenging environments for professional development. The small team sizes (3-5 people) and variety of customer environments necessitates flexible candidates with broad skill sets. Projects are usually 1-4 months in duration and may require extensive travel. In the role of project manager, the candidate will work with cross-functional team members to ensure timely delivery and high levels of quality. Our customer operations department is a small, high-pressure environment where deadlines and priorities shift regularly.
Facilitating business and technical deployments of software applications
Coordinate every aspect of Customer implementation to ensure a successful and seamless integration of the Entriq Service
Quickly assess Customer’s requirements to determine an implementation plan.
Involvement in the full project lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design implementation and deployment
Developing of project plans and ensuring that development milestones and cost objectives are met
Develop statement of work to ensure clients business needs are met
Primary interfacing between the customer, or the on-site team and the client services team, as well as other internal groups (e.g. product management, product development)
Identifying and managing customer expectations for deliverables throughout the project lifecycle, including budgeting and budget reports
Provide Customer usage and service reports
Conduct regular Customer Service reviews
Communicating roles, responsibilities and desired outcomes to project teams
Interacting with project managers, customers, senior management and executives
Clarifying issues facing the business/functional unit
Performing Account Management functions once the client is live, including follow-up, statistics and reporting back to the client. Owning the relationship.
2+ years of intimate DRM or Web Service Services experience essential
Understanding of development code
BA/BS in Information Systems or a related area or equivalent experience
5+ years of total experience (3+ years experience designing, developing, and implementing software and/or service solutions and 2+ years project management experience)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills
Proven track record for working effectively with technical and business functions
Demonstrated success in managing complex, technical projects with multi-disciplinary teams
General consulting, analysis, design and presentation skills
Completion of formal project management certification highly desired
