Entriq provides technology to enable and support online content applications related to security, Commerce, and customer care.
This position provides technical support to sales representatives in the office and in the field. It requires excellent technical and communication skills, prior technical experience, customer problem resolution, and the ability to work well in a team setting. A comprehensive understanding of online content, digital rights management, content delivery, and media players is required.
— Works closely with Entriq sales representatives as a technical consultant of Entriq’s technologies during sales calls and sales visits.
— Answers technical questions and conducts demonstrations of product expressions and new features to prospects and to various groups within existing customer accounts
— Provides technical descriptions and content for proposals in response to RFPs & RFQs.
— Provides product installation problem resolution and support. Also, provides full technical training of Entriq’s product expressions.
— Gathers ongoing prospect/customer feedback and related information.
Education: Requires a bachelor’s degree in a computer related field (Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Systems Analysis, etc.) or related discipline. Additional business related education is a plus.
Experience: Candidate must have at least 5 years of experience in the computer field working with the relevant applications and technologies. Candidate must also have at least one year of experience providing application/network support and explaining technology to customers and sales prospects or providing internal support to company employees.
Requires the ability to interact with many different types of individuals, including executives, engineers, analysts, and other business professionals. A broad background and general knowledge of technical, administrative, financial areas, and a basic understanding of related terms and business processes a plus. Must have demonstrated self-confidence and self-reliance in conducting demonstrations, training, and experience working in business-to-business situations.
Applicant must have good communicative skills both verbally and in written form and the ability to effectively communicate ideas and properly describe problems and solutions. Critical thinking, reasoning, and problem solving ability are an essential part of this position. Must be a self-starter with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
