Job Scope:
-Builds up business partnerships with carriers in North America and South America.
-Builds and integrates mobile content both on-deck and off-deck content.
-Manages business development and sales activities for on-deck and off-deck.
-Assists senior management in identifying, managing and defining sensible business opportunities and marketing strategies.
-Liaises with major carriers on promotions of VAS and applications.
-Develops business partnerships through selling VAS (i.e. games, ringtones, logos, etc) of cell phone to the major carriers.
-Reports to and meet up with senior management on a regular basis.
-Travels around the globe to fulfill managerial appointments.
Job Responsibilities:
-Building and managing mobile content both on-deck and off-deck.
-Keeping up-to-date with the industry news and practices including regulatory framework/rules, production needs and requirements.
-Positioning and branding of the company’s products as the best-of-breed solution in the market.
-Delivering relevant research and reports on local market intelligence to senior management.
-Managing a small team independently.
-Monitoring performance of advertisement to achieve a positive ROI from the products being promoted.
-Bringing the products at the forefront of possible sales channels to increase overall sales.
Job Requirements:
-A bachelor degree required, with experience in sales & marketing and/or business development preferred. Having worked in wireless VAS companies, telecommunication carriers, and internet business will be considered in preference.
-Experience in Performance Based Marketing, direct and/or internet marketing with proven track sales record is an advantage.
-Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken English. Any additional languages will be an advantage.
-Possess an excellent network of business contacts in Mobile Value Added services, internet business companies or other related industries will be an advantage.
-The candidate MUST be willing to work independently and in a small team; existing and previous experience in managing a small team is preferred.
-Willingness to travel is a must for this position. The proportion of traveling will be around 20%.
