Senior Marketing Manager
BuzzBee is a fast thinking, dynamic and idea rich Seattle-based marketing consulting firm specializing in the complexities of marketing technology products and services to the enterprise. Our clients are senior marketing managers at Fortune 500 technology companies who look to us to combine strategy, program management, technology and content development that helps them to drive business value.
We are seeking a Senior Marketing Manager who is a content development expert with subject matter expertise in desktop applications, solution selling and competitive marketing. The position requires a versatile and creative marketer who can provide strategic council as well as implement day-to-day marketing tactics. Following are some of the specific skills we are seeking:
-Conceptualize and draft key positioning tools for various products and solutions
-Build various types of marketing and sales content including presentations, white papers, datasheets and demo scripts
-Define gaps in content, conceptualize and write creative briefs for the development of such content
-Act as strategic editor to review content, determine quality and edit materials as needed
-Create and manage criteria for the assessment of content
-Manage and drive growth strategy for existing tool to help field compete against key competitor
-Drive content gathering initiatives across various business groups
Candidates for the Senior Marketing Manager must bring:
-Minimum 8 years product marketing, communications, public relations experience
-Minimum 4 years in business-to-business marketing in the technology industry
-Expertise in the enterprise technology industry, working with companies such as Microsoft, Intel, Oracle, IBM and Sun
-Proven experience with the development and execution of technology platform marketing strategy, content planning and competitive analysis
-Proven experience in developing high level messaging, business value positioning, competitive messaging and customer evidence
