Wireless Sales Director

Primary Duty:

To develop a strategy and approach to, manage and maintain a major Tier 1 Wireless Carrier account for sales, development, new products, and promotional offerings, advertising and marketing opportunities.

  • Accountable for hitting monthly sales and revenue targets
  • Charged with creating an annual account plan focusing on strategies for deck management of THQ Wireless content, marketing, advertising and promotions for a major Tier 1 Wireless Carrier.
  • Responsible for managing carrier handset priority lists and effictively communicating the handset list internally.
  • Responsible for making sure product is completed and submitted to carriers in a timely basis.
  • Develop and communicate timely sales data actuals and forecast on a monthly/quarterly basis.


  • 4-Year college degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years experience in sales with 3+ years experience selling to wireless carriers. Must have Wireless experience.
  • Experience with data content and services, including SMS, WAP, MMS, JAVA etc. a plus.
  • Experience selling nascent (embryonic/start-up) products/services into new markets.
  • Relationship building and partner communication skills.
  • Ability to understand and manage contract requirements and identify new business opportunities.
  • New media sales, marketing and/or business development experience a plus.
