Enterprise Mobile Solutions Project Manager

The Project Manager plays a key role in the sale and delivery of mobile/wireless business solutions to inCode*s customers. The candidate will be responsible for participating with Practice Leads and architects in the development of wireless solutions for industry verticals. Solutions include Mobile Office, Supply Chain and Asset Management, Telematics and Transportation Solutions, Field Force Automation, Sales Force Automation and Advisory Services. inCode is targeting all industry verticals with solutions (Financial Service, Utilities, Manufacturing, etc).

After development, the Project Manager will work with the Sales and Practice Lead team to take solutions to market, build custom responses to client requirements and close sales. At this point, the Project Manager becomes the main interface between inCode and the customer in the delivery of the solution. Tasks include software deployment and integration, configuration of solutions, hardware (device) deployment, training and support. As a Project Manager, the candidate will lead client engagements through inception to completion including client communication, staff development, engagement billing and support. The candidate will be responsible for developing and selecting appropriate tools and methodologies to provide the above services.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Sales support

  • Maintains technical proficiency on inCode*s products
  • Participates in periodic training to enhance selling techniques and attends conferences to maintain technical proficiency in broad mobile application areas
  • Qualifies, schedules, conducts or oversees, and communicates results of product demonstrations to the relevant sales person, and if appropriate, to the prospect directly
  • Delivers presentations to prospective clients under the direction of the relevant sales person or Practice Lead
  • Delivers presentations on behalf of inCode at conferences, seminars and symposia
  • Gathers and summarizes information on client needs and works with a team to build solutions to meet customer needs
  • Reports on competitive activity encountered to the sales and marketing teams
  • Communicates regularly with sales, marketing, tech support and engineering people
  • Provides leadership and project management on proposals, RFP and RFI responses
  • Cultivates leads while demonstrating knowledge of mobility solutions

Delivery support

  • Provides Project Management Support
    • Construct overall project plan including activities for training, engineering, client, client IS/IT
    • Coordinate 3rd party participation
    • Coordinate software/hardware purchases and shipping

  • Functions as the single point of contact for the customer for all activities being undertaken by inCode
  • Manages and coordinates client training
  • Assist in obtaining client acceptance, closing the project, and provide project hand-off information to service and support department
  • Lead client and inCode teams working on consulting engagements
  • Review work products of team members

Other Support

  • Career counseling/management for more junior staff
  • Assists in hiring and recruiting process



  • University degree in a related discipline from an accredited college, or equivalent experience in a business environment

Technical knowledge:

  • Knowledge of project management techniques and methodology
  • Experience in the deployment/configuration of middleware-based mobility/wireless solutions


  • 5 or more years experience in the delivery of mobility solutions with a demonstrated track record of consistent successful client delivery
  • Project management experience ideally for mobility or wireless projects, or for IT projects with hardware and software components
  • Delivery experience can come from a consulting service organization or from a product company in the mobility solution industry
  • Desired horizontal skill sets include experience in the horizontal solutions described above (Mobile Office, Supply Chain and Asset Management (including RFID), Telematics and Transportation Solutions, Field Force Automation, Sales Force Automation and other mobility solution offers)
  • From a vertical skill perspective, inCode is current looking for candidates to cover all vertical industries except Telecom and Transportation
  • Experience with a number of mobility solutions is very desirable


  • Strong communication skills both written and oral required
  • Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain an effective follow-up system to ensure timely and accurate handling of information requests
  • Demonstrated ability to use discretion and sensitivity when handling confidential information
  • Successful experience communicating with managerial and executive level staff and external professional contacts
  • Demonstrated ability to compose clear and concise technical and non-technical oral and written communication

  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative and make independent decisions
  • Ability to perform in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
