We are looking for a talented individual to create and design web interfaces for mobile download content infrastructure products including XHTML interfaces on mobile handsets. The individual will assist in the day-to-day execution and implementation of the download catalog available to users of mobile devices.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Produce HTML prototypes with CSS of web tool interfaces without WYSIWYG assistance.
Design and creation of graphics, web, and xhtml pages.
Assist in the development of tools that will further streamline submission, publishing, certification and reporting.
User interface design of mobile publishing tools and mobile phone interfaces.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree +
Ability to handcode HTML and CSS
Knowledge of cross-browser and cross platform (X)HTML, DHTML, and table-less designs.
In-depth knowledge of (X)HTML/CSS hierarchy and architecture.
General knowledge of W3C recommendations and web standards
Knowledge of JavaScript and Photoshop.
Understanding of good UI design.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Very detail oriented.
Able to quickly pick up and understand basics of new technologies
Ability to manage multiple external relationships
Comfortable and proficient in Excel, Access and other MS Office tools
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Experience working with external vendors or partners preferred
Knowledge of Portuguese or Spanish a plus
Experience in wireless industry a plus
Knowledge of WAP a plus
Experience with databases and content a plus.
