Summary of Functions:

This position requires a candidate possessing thorough familiarity with C++ and objected-oriented programming, to include IO streams and the C++ Standard Template Library.  Candidates must be familiar with working in a multi-threaded environment.  Candidates should be familiar with network environment, including protocols and implementations.  Must have excellent communications skills, oral and written.   The successful candidate will write and maintain high-performance, scalable applications to support WSC’s product line by using and extending the WSC’s object libraries.  Candidates will also design, develop and maintain SQL Server implementations in support of these applications, and should be able to write code and database solutions based on high-level requirements.   Candidate Qualifications: Required knowledge and skills: Strong experience with C++, C, XML Working knowledge of SQL Server and developing database applications Working knowledge of database design concepts Familiarity with multi-threaded programming and applications Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio, and Visual C++ Primary experience on Windows and Windows Server platforms, some familiarity with Linux 5 or more years experience in software development Wireless industry experience is a plus Excellent inter-personal skills and initiative Attention to detail. Ability to work with minimal supervision Experience with the nominal range of professional developer tools Great attitude & sense of humor BS in Math or Computer Science preferred
