That’s where you come in. HELIO is looking for a Manager of Terminal Product Support
The position of Manager of Terminal Product Support will be primarily concerned with the testing and technical support of mobile terminals, coordinating end to end testing, and providing customer support to the Customer Care organization. This job primarily consists of writing/managing the IOT test procedures/process and providing technical support for tier 3/4 customer care.
This position will supervise no direct reports, and will report to the Director of Product Management within the Terminal Engineering team
Position Duties / Responsibilities:
Testing and technical support of mobile terminals
Coordinate technical support for IOT testing
Conducting network field testing on the EVDO network
Provide Tier 3/4 technical support
Develop troubleshooting documents for customer care
Conduct technical training for members of customer care
Responsible for test handset management to include activation and account management
Develop showcases for the marketing and business groups
Deliver test procedures and test cases to QA group
Document and communicate test status to executive management
Conduct product and vendor selection through evaluation of test environment
Key Experience / Education Requirements:
· 5+ years of relevant technical experience in the areas of technical product management, software engineering and or sales engineering focused on mobile wireless technologies.
· Strong ability to analyze, define, and validate user and system requirements
· Knowledge of wireless technologies (CDMA, GSM/GPRS, WCDMA, CDMA 2000), and understanding of wireless device platforms.
· Experience working in a wireless operator environment, or secondarily experience with a mobile device manufacturer or vendor selling in to wireless operators.
· Knowledge of handset IOT process along with CDG 1 and 2 testing knowledge.
Ability to work effectively both in an independent and team environment and to interact creatively and achieve results in a dynamic small company environment.
Ability to work successfully with cross-functional teams.
Must be highly professional with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and deliver solid work on tight schedules.
Must be extremely customer-focused, with excellent communication and analytical abilities
This position requires a four-year degree, as well as an advanced technical/business degree or equivalent experience.
