Senior Product Manager Wireless
You will be responsible for leading the mobile product efforts within this large organization. Reporting to the Director of Product Management for Mobile and Wireless, your responsibilities will be to:
Lead the mobile product lifecycle including gathering product requirements, defining product direction, building partner solutions and working closely with engineering to implement these solutions.
Presenting these solutions to customers, partners and at industry events
Engaging and evangelizing your product line to sales and marketing organizations
Managing partner and channel delivery opportunities
Travel is required (US and international).
Position Requirements and Education:
Expert in the dynamic multi-tasking and prioritization required to define products:
1) In the fast-paced, high-growth mobile and wireless markets
2) For a global sales force calling on Fortune 1000
companies
3) Along side an expert product delivery team you need to be equally fluent in technical and business discussions
Experience with mobile phone platforms (Symbian, Windows Mobile & Linux) and familiarity with mobile security companies and applications (Encryption, Compliancy, Device Management, etc.)
BS (or equivalent) required, MBA preferred
2-5 years high tech product management (software preferred) including:
competitive intelligence, product marketing, pricing, channel
management, roadmaps, etc – 2+ years wireless experience such as handsets and mobile applications
