Mobile Applications Engineer
Leading mobile music service provider mobZilla™, the developer of a multi-platform solution that streams music to mobile phones and PCs, is seeking talented mobile application software engineers with extensive experience in Symbian, J2ME, PalmOS and Windows mobile application development platforms. Responsibilities include
• Lead object-oriented design and development of new mobile applications
• Update and maintain existing mobile software products
• Explore and advise on different technical approaches to meet product requirements and test new technologies
• Tune and improve efficiency of production applications
Required Qualifications
• At least 5 years experience developing software
• Ability to work in a collaborative, fats-paced environment
• At least 2 years experience developing mobile applications for:
• Symbian OS
• J2ME / MIDP 2.0
• Microsoft Smartphone, PocketPC, and/or PocketPC Mobile
• Palm OS / Treo
• BSCS or equivalent
Experience with any of the following a plus:
• XML, SOAP, and Web Services architectures
• SQL
• Web Applications
• 3GP, aacPlus, AAC, MPEG-1, MPEG-4, Quicktime, or Windows Media
