Desired Profile
–8-10 years experience: wireless telecommunications, online business, media content companies
–Senior in-house and/or agency positions
–Previously demonstrated leadership in and responsibility for external and internal communications
–Experience in managing external agencies & in providing contributions to business development programs
–Budget responsibility
–Excellent written and presentation skills
Responsibilities
–Reporting to the VP Marketing
–Works with VP Marketing to develop and prioritize the direction for Volantis’ external positioning and value to customers
–Leads a dynamic relationship with Product Marketing team to support marketing of Volantis product offering
–Proactive and direct contact with Sales for planning and prioritization of lead-generation activities
–Supports lead generation activities with various programs: D-M, event marketing, web-based marketing
–Develops Marketing Communications programs for US, other global markets
–Cultivates of core media and analyst contacts
–Develops joint-marketing and promotion programs with Volantis customers
–Writing requirements: public positioning, web content, Volantis public announcements [press releases], presentations, etc.
–Supports lead development and tactical execution of trade show and customer prospecting events
