Kelly Engineering Resources: Data Tester Wireless, San Diego, CA
Kelly Engineering Resources is recruiting for 2 Data Testers to work for a very large Fortune 500 Wireless Manufacturer here in San Diego. The successful candidate will possess these attributes and will be considered for the position.
This is a contract position that will last up to a year.
Involved in the planning, implementation, execution and reporting on all testing that will be carried out; will be involved in testing phases in simulation environments such as integration testing and system testing using real hardware both in a laboratory and out in the field; should be effective at working independently and as part of a team.
Main Responsibility Areas:
* Responsible for testing mobile phone data communications.
* Responsible for writing error reports.
* Designing/implementing automated tests.
* Writing test specifications and performing configuration management of test suites.
* Planning, implementation, and execution of tests.
* Creating software tools to support testing
The following is a requirement for this position:
* BSCS
* Strong documentation skills
* Experience with Unix, C/C++
* Knowledge of TCP/IP
* Firm understanding of numbering systems including HEX
* Knowledge of Circuit/qnc/2G packet/high speed data is a plus
* Modem setup experience is a plus.
