Position is responsible for testing Web applications and WAP applications.
* Write and execute test plans
* Diagnose initial debugging
* Document and process the logging and tracking of bugs in our tracking system
* Plan, organize and perform QA on the server side of the Web
Required Skills / Experience
* At least 2 year working in a testing capacity for Internet applications
* General understanding of mobile applications, web applications, and Flash applications
* Strong web experience using Internet Explorer, Firefox, Netscape, Safari and Opera
* General understanding of QA methodologies: creation and management of test scripts and test plans
* Proficiency with PC and Mac
* Proficiency with MS Office suite
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
* Proficient with HTML / JavaScript / XML
* Proficient with XHTML and XML
* Proficient in functional and performance testing of HTTP/HTTPS protocol servers (Apache)
* General understanding of source / version control systems (VSS, CVS, Clearcase)
Preferred Skills / Experience
* Proficient in testing in the UNIX/LINUX server environment
* Experience with automated testing tools (Winrunner, SilkTest, Visual
Test)
* Knowledge of variety of mobile devices (cell phones)
* Knowledge of network / web architecture (web servers, app servers)
* Experience with BREW / J2ME is a plus
* Proficient in testing Java (JBOSS) application servers
