Desired Profile
–7-10 years experience: wireless telecommunications, online business, media content companies
–Proven ability to quickly understand and effectively communicate about new technologies.
–Experience in the successful development and launch of high-tech products?–Ability to think both tactically and strategically.
–Ability to work well with and earn the respect of a development team.
–Strong cross-functional leadership, negotiation and communication skills.
–Self-motivated driver who is reliable, organized, and persuasive.
–Strong strategic planning skills; outstanding analytical skills.
–Strong organizational skills, uncanny ability to meet deadlines.
–Excellent written and oral presentation skills, with experience addressing executive audience
–Reporting to Director of Product Marketing
–Product Strategy
o Shape product vision by identifying new markets and emerging opportunities
o Create product roadmaps for phased delivery of key product features.
o Work with engineering to recommend and drive new product directions.
–Product Definition and Development
o Direct feature set definition and develop market requirements documents to help prioritize engineering activities based on a deep understanding of customer needs and market requirements.
–Assess technology vendors and negotiate external partnerships necessary to support product development activities.
–Product Launch & Management
o Work with Engineering to manage release schedules, track progress and make appropriate tradeoffs between features and timing.
–Work with Marketing Communications to create sales tools and customer marketing collateral (e.g., product brochures and solution briefs, data sheets and white papers, FAQ’s)
–Assist in business development & sales efforts to ensure successful deployments and reference customers
