The Opportunity:
M:Metrics seeks an Account Development Manager to join our sales team. We need a candidate who is an energetic salesperson, technically savvy, proactive, and ready to hit the ground running. This position requires someone who is comfortable selling over the phone and conducting web-based product demonstrations.
Responsibilities:
The Account Development Manager will drive inside sales for the assigned territory, partnering with the regional Senior Director of Sales to ensure a streamlined, efficient process for building the pipeline and closing business. The ADM will provide primary sales support for the team including managing contracts, entering prospect and client information into our database and scheduling sales calls. He or she will also provide limited account management for the current clients in the region, directing questions or requests for information through the proper organizational channels and setting up accounts for renewal.
Building the sales pipeline by finding leads, calling prospects and providing initial product demonstrations
Answering inbound calls and attending trade shows and events
Partnering with the regional sales team to collaborate on closing sales
Sending sales collateral to prospects, providing copies of contracts and orientation materials to clients and sales-related faxing, filing and shipping.
Updating regional forecasting information and client contact reporting spreadsheets
The Skills Needed:
The ideal candidate will have:
A BA or BS degree
Strong telephone skills and a friendly, personable demeanor
The ability to work independently and accomplish goals under tight deadlines
Prior experience working with all Microsoft Office applications (ie. Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
The ability to communicate effectively and professionally in writing
A desire to work for an early stage company – a willingness to take initiative and action with limited direction
The position reports to the Senior Director of Sales. The Account Development Manager may be located in either Seattle, WA or San Francisco, CA.
