M:Metrics is a private, venture funded company. It is headquartered in Seattle, WA and has an office in San Francisco, CA.
We are looking for someone to help drive sales for the Western Region, with specific responsibility for Southern California, cultivating and following up on prospects and consistently closing sales in their targeted geography.
We need a candidate who is an energetic salesperson, technically savvy, proactive, and ready to hit the ground running. This position requires someone who is comfortable selling an intangible data product, conducting web-based product demonstrations and working as part of a small team at a fast-growing company.
Closing sales and networking with the mobile industry in the territory to build the pipeline for the region
Demonstrating M:Metrics products and services in person as well as by phone and via web demonstrations
Managing individual forecast in Salesforce.com and maintaining accurate records of prospect development
Working closely with the regional Account Development Manager bring clients on board and ensure renewals; collaborating with the regional sales team
Renewing and upselling existing client base with expanded service offerings
Attending trade shows and events
The Skills Needed:
We need an outside salesperson with 5-7 years of prior sales experience and the ability to effectively demonstrate our MobiLens syndicated data service to prospects.
The ideal candidate will have:
Minimum of 5 years of proven outside sales experience in wireless, market research or audience measurement
Demonstrated ability to sell intangible products through creative thinking and client needs assessment
Strong organizational skills
Experience in managing a geography to an assigned sales quota
Ability to work independently and accomplish goals under tight deadlines
A willingness to travel 2-3 weeks per month and work remotely from a home office if necessary
Enthusiasm for being part of a young company and a nimble, fast-growing team
The position reports to the Senior Director of Western Sales in California. The Senior Account Manager may be located anywhere in California but Los Angeles-area candidates are preferred.
