VP Sales, In-Call Advertising Network
VoodooVox operates a network of phone systems that automatically answer calls to request calls to radio and music television broadcasters. Over 400+ clients, including MTV, Radio Disney, Sirius, Univision, to name only our network deals.
Our clients receive about 1M calls daily, 60% of which come in on cell phones. We have an opt-in list of 1.6M unique cell phone numbers, about which we know age, gender, carrier, city, music tastes, etc.In this role the candidate will be expected to excel in the following areas:
Deal Making: The candidate will negotiate and close retainer and up front relationships with CMOs of large consumer brands and senior account executives of media buying, direct response, traditional and interactive agencies
Revenue Optimization: Work alongside the Product Management, Sales and Account Services teams to optimize revenue across the In-Call Ad Network.
Market Awareness Building: Work to build increasing awareness of the VoodooVox In-Call Advertising Network in public forums including conferences and trade associations.
Candidates should have 10+ years of management with building and extending seven figure revenue in AOR or media buying type relationships with large consumer brands such as Coca-Cola, Kellogg’s and McDonald’s Cingular, Sony, etc.
Experience in interactive media is required; experience selling integrated media and promotions is desired. And traditional media experience is beneficial. Relationships with youth-oriented brands will also be helpful.
This senior executive role reports to the General Manager of the In Call Ad Network.
