Position Title : Sr Systems Engineer-UMTS Standards
City : Milpitas CA
Duration : Fulltime/Contract
Requirements:
* MS/PhD in EE/CS or equivalent 10+ years of development engineering experience in telecommunications is required 5+ years of wireless systems engineering experience is required
* Experience in system requirements specification and architecture development is required
* Experience in standards development is required
* Expert knowledge of GSM, GPRS and UMTS wireless standards and implementation issues is required
* Knowledge of Unlicensed Mobile Access (UMA) standards is a plus
* Knowledge of VoIP technology and protocols (H.248, MGCP, RTP) is required
* Knowledge of wireless data communications (GPRS, 1xRTT) and Internet protocols (IP, IPSec, TCP, SSL, Mobile IP) is a plus
* Excellent communication and presentation skills are required
* Strong leadership skills are required
