Director of Mobile Advertising
Responsibilities:
The Director of Mobile Advertising Sales has executive ownership for managing the ad sales and marketing strategy at Greystripe. The Director is responsible for marketing and driving the go-to-market activities for Greystripe’s Mobile Ad-Network. This position will build strong sales relationships with advertisers, ad agencies, and ad networks. The Director will also develop strong business partnerships with mobile game publishers, mobile application developers, and mobile content distributors. This position will create Greystripe’s channel strategy, marketing programs, pricing, and will ensure establishment of the supporting services and operations. This position requires experience with interactive sales and interactive lead-generation sales.
Experience:
* You must be an executive entrepreneur who understands and thrives in the lean environment of a startup.
* 5+ years in hands-on Business Development, including partnership marketing, large-account sales managing relationships with clients and/or partners in a service/solution capacity.
* Developing business/R&D investment plans for mobile advertising products, including financial cases for new products.
* Work closely with product development teams, internal departments and external customers
* Experience working with online marketing, advertising affiliate programs, direct mail and web traffic analytical tools is a plus
* Ability to generate revenue through aggressive selling of online media
* 5-7 years of overall media sales experience, including managing a territory
* Create opportunities to gain significant advertising revenue through sales, sponsorships and business partnerships
* Outstanding interpersonal and people-management skills
* Excellent communications skills, written and verbal, and sales skills
