Technical Writer / Quality Specialist
You will be responsible for generating and updating technical documentation, including on-line help files, product reference manuals, application notes, and upgrade procedures. You will administer and maintain our corrective action database (ClearQuest) including user administration, and process monitoring and control. You will also be responsible for configuration control of deployed systems, including detailed upgrade procedures and working instructions for customer systems and tracking of serialized components.
This position requires the ability to interact positively with all product related areas of the company including Development, System Test, and our Production teams. The successful candidate will understand how to construct and develop technical manuals, procedures, policies, and processes. Tools used include RoboHelp, Word, Visio, FullShot, and Adobe Acrobat. Some knowledge of quality systems and processes is helpful, including prior experience working with configuration management and control systems and documentation in a software development setting.
