Program Manager

An exciting new team is being developed to bring exciting new applications to wireless devices and you could be a part of it!!! A team supporting International applications and Wireless products is looking for a Technical Lead Program Manager with strong development skills to design, implement and influence product teams in the areas of Voice/VoIP services and Mobile. The role combines both individual contribution work along with developing and leading a team of 3 or more Program Managers.
Responsibilities include
· Providing technical direction to the International Program Management team
· Providing technical direction to the development teams
· Helping set market-specific strategy and prioritization
· Leading a passionate team of 3 or more International Program Managers
· Building cross-group credibility through a strong scope of influence
· Delivering specifications and implementation designs
· Delivering on the overall team goals of globalization and market scalability
· Ensuring a smooth end to end deployment of the features and services internationally
Skills required
· Excellent verbal and written communications
· Highly effective organization, negotiation, coordination, and presentation skills
· Has a strong empathy for the international customer
· Is able to manage multiple priorities, think on their feet, and execute with speed
· Is able to make decisions independently in a fast paced and demanding environment
· Is able to effectively drive cross-team partnerships to strong results
· Proven skills for designing global products with local relevance
· Proven skills in release management and service deployment
Qualifications required
· History of defining and shipping features
· Solid technical development background
· 5+ years of Lead Program Management experience
· A BA/BS degree in Computer Science or related technical equivalent
· Experience in globalization and/or localization is a plus
· Experience in mobile communications is a plus
