Director of Sales
As Director of Sales you will be responsible for increasing revenues directly with wireless carrier customers, developing new carrier accounts and building new direct to consumer sales channel relationships. In this role you will manage relationships with existing carrier channels, including: Pitching new products, Coordinating with internal production & carrier on product launch and optimizing sales on existing products by achieving optimal deck placement, identifying innovative ways to feature content, coordinating with marketing on promotions, etc.
Additionally you will track revenue against forecast across portfolio on monthly basis, explain variances and take corrective action where appropriate. Establish and manage new carrier channel relationships. Identify and evaluate strategic value of new direct to consumer channels. Close and manage new direct to consumer channels.
To qualify, you have prior account management or business development experience with revenue responsibility and consultative sales experience.
Experience in mobile content strongly desired. Experience selling into carriers preferred. Ideal candidate will have broad knowledge of wireless industry, including devices, data services, mobile content, distribution models, infrastructure and sales channels. Proven ability to prospect and close new business. Strong analytical ability to support modeling of revenues and analysis of actual performance against forecast.
