Wireless Network Technician
Help ensure wireless network operations.
Hargray Communications, a telecommunications leader in the Lowcountry for over 60 years has an employment opportunity open for a Wireless Network Technician.
Candidates should be high school graduates with a minimum 3 years of experience with wireess switch and call processing operation; LUCENT CDMA knowledge is preferred. You should possess basic electronic knowledge and have a working knowledge of personal computers and communication hardware/software. Candidates should be familiar with wireless test equipment and drive testing procedures. Ability to read, understand, interpret and apply written instructions, such as equipment manuals, in operation and troubleshooting of network operations systems. You must be able to climb ladders, lift 50 lbs and be available to work varied schedules and extended hours. A valid driver’s license with a history of safe driving record a must.
Experience with microwave system maintenance, T-1 and other data circuit testing experise a plus.
