Provide extensive pre-sales and limited post-sales technical expertise to the field sales force in carrier and OEM sales.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide extensive pre-sales and some post- sales support to Innopath Field Sales teams on wireless operator and OEM accounts . Functions as the technical resource of the account / sales team to determine customer requirements, provide demonstrations, deliver presentations, perform limited product evaluations and deliver technical information to support the sales process. Work with corporate product marketing and engineering teams to ensure current and future customer needs are met. Provide general education to customers and sales representatives on product technology and directions. Must be comfortable presenting and teaching technology concepts and company information to potentially large and diverse audiences.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
Education or Equivalent Experience: B.S. in Computer Science or a related field with 5-7 years experience in telecommunications or information technology industry . Previous sales support engineering experience is desired.
Excellent interpersonal , communication and presentation skills are required, as are excellent written skills. Technical skill set should include wireless data services, general networking and web technologies. Experience at a similar role is a strong plus.
( Up-to 30% ) More than 50% national and international travel to customer sites may be required. Candidate should be capable of becoming the subject matter expert in Device Management and be capable of creating responses to RFPs, RFQs and RFIs.
