Description: Support position for mobile Pocket PC and PDA product line utilizing Windows 2000/2003, Windows XP, Pocket PC, PDA, TCP/IP, SQL, and mobile, wireless, web-based, and IVR technologies. Manage and support Hardware and Software including Servers, Network, and Client Devices. Will support and troubleshoot product software solutions and provide accurate and creative solutions to user problems. Research, resolve and respond to product questions received via telephone calls, e-mail, web and web chats in a timely manner, in accordance with current standards. Monitor performance of software programs, enhancements and reports after implementation. Set appropriate customer expectations and fulfill customer commitments. Liaise with Technical Consultant to refine, test, and debug programs, enhancements and reports to meet needs, including occasional visits to customer offices.
Skills: 2-5+ years of technical support with skills in supporting Windows 2000/2003, Windows XP, Pocket PC, PDA, TCP/IP, and SQL. Some system integration backgrounds a plus. Excellent communication skills and personality with the ability to respond to common inquiries from customers or business partners. MCSE/MCSD a plus. Experience with Windows Mobile and Web-based technologies and SQL Server or Oracle a plus. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
