Wireless Media Specialist
Prepare and organize content for WAP sites, mobile portals, websites and related mobile products.
Duties/Responsibilities:
• Copy source media to network storage and perform file management on server volumes
• Prepare media for wireless delivery including: media editing, conforming, logging, packaging and staging
• Color correct, crop, edit, resize, rename and batch photo media using Photoshop and batch editing tools
• Catalogue media into content management database software: assign keywords, categories and search terms
• Track the deployment of all media in the content management database
• Test media on final delivery platform and hardware prior to final customer delivery (viewing on cell phones)
• Write movie reviews, editorial comments and promotional text to accompany media updates
• Assist development team with all aspects of daily production (as needed) including: media management, WAP site and website assembly and content updates, functional upgrades, quality control, testing, customer service, and troubleshooting.
Knowledge, Skill and Ability:
• Experienced/Intermediate at data entry software – esp. database and content management software (experience in Extensis Portfolio preferred)
• Experienced in Excel and other Microsoft Office tools
• Can build HTML pages using WYSIWYG tools or by hand
• Intermediate at Photoshop or equivalent image editing software
• Novice/intermediate at (desktop video editing tools including Final Cut Pro, Vegas and Premiere)
• Demonstrated ability to successfully handle several priorities at once
• Current PC, MAC OS, web development, and design software packages
• Office/Desk Job
• 6+ hours per day at the computer
• Team oriented work
• Work with technical and sales staff
• Adult content environment
