Director of Online Marketing, Mobile Entertainment
In this role you will be responsible for all consumer-facing online content and is the point person for all online communication. This role is the primary ‘voice’ for all online properties and will lead all future development of web properties.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Acquisition and retention marketing efforts designed to drive web site traffic and sales.
Managing and merchandising the Company website
• Leads the development of promotional strategies to maximize placement of content on internal and external sites, including creative concepts, web site features, contests and other initiatives.
• Establishes and maintains key partnerships with major portals and mobile carriers
• Development, management, deployment and setting of policy standards for all consumer-facing content utilities: CRM tools, feedback, consumer databases, and communication utilities including RSS, mobile, e-mail, SMS, test and IM
• Working closely with Product Managers & Creative (images, graphics, logos, fonts). Interface with the content team on the creation, development & deployment of Internet & mobile-specific content
• Monitoring performance, usage and content of Bulletin Boards, chat groups, artist sites, social networking destinations, fan sites, e-lists and label-controlled e-mail lists, databases and consumer inquiries
REQUIREMENTS
• Minimum five years related experience. Preferably in the areas of online content management, web management and/ or online marketing
• BA Degree in Marketing or related educational background required
• Strong verbal and written communication skills required
• Excellent computer skills including all MS tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Basic html and programming skills desired, but not required (design skills not required)
• Knowledge & experience of the Internet, online content and web content management
• Knowledge & experience in online consumer marketing communication and retention
• Wireless entertainment background is an asset but not a requirement
