Drawing upon your strong negotiation and problem resolution skills, you will use extensive inbound and outbound phone contact with customers to accomplish collections of delinquent customer accounts. While your primary focus will be on suspension prevention and account rehabilitation, you will also keep an eye on customer bill payments and follow-up on payment arrangements to ensure customer cooperation.
College degree and 1-2 years’ customer service, credit order operations or customer financial service experience preferred. Diplomacy, tenacity and strong communication and interpersonal skills are necessary, as well as a thorough understanding of consumer collection laws and techniques. Computer proficiency is a plus. Bilingual candidates (Spanish/English) are highly desirable.
