We have an immediate opening for Mobile WAP developer well versed in Web and WAP sites implementation, delivering mobile content to end users. You must be confident of your technical skills and have good communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
• Planning, analyzing, designing, developing, programming and rolling out new mobile applications
• Managing change requests, and making enhancements to existing mobile applications
• Ensuring a high level of professionalism with regards to the programming, development, and maintenance of the mobile applications
• Ensuring that project goals are met in a timely and professional manner
• Working with contractors and outsourcing partners
• Researching and identifying “Best Practices” related to mobile content provisioning technology
Minimum Job Qualifications:
• Strong knowledge and understanding of wireless services and products
• Minimum 1 year experience in Web/WAP product development
• Proficiency with the following technologies – JSP, Servlet, WML, HTML, XHTML, DHTML, JavaScript, AJAX, XML
• Demonstrated experience developing innovative web applications in a J2EE environment
• Experience in object-oriented design and development practices
• Minimum 2 years´ experience working on high traffic e-commerce web sites in a dynamic environment, content site preferred
• Experience in project planning, design, documentation, and implementation
• Detailed understanding of cross-browser compatibility
• Strong organizational skills and the flexibility to work both independently and within a team environment.
• Quick learner, willing to adopt new mobile technology.
Preferred Skills & Experience:
• Experience with Flash Lite, and Web 2.0
