Job Title: LATAM Presales Engineer
Our Client a leader in Wireless is an innovator in the field of standards based 802.11 Wi-Fi technology and has pioneered the use of Wi-Fi as a reliable delivery mechanism for multi-media traffic including streaming standard & high definition multicast video as well as voice and data over the unlicensed 2.4GHz and 5GHz spectrum.
Founded in 2004 and still privately held, Our Client has already been honoured with over 30 industry awards for technology innovation. Product acceptance in the service provider industry has been reflected by deployments with more than 100 carriers globally.
Reporting directly to the Regional Head of South America, we are seeking a self-starting Pre-Sales support engineer to assist in the selling process & who can help accelerate our client’s business presence in all the relevant markets within the defined territory. Applicants should have 5-10 years technical experience, be very familiar with IP &networking protocols and a familiarity with Wi-Fi would be a significant advantage.
Experience of working through distribution and VAR partners is key, including providing channels with support and training as required. This person must be able to demonstrate a ”can-do” attitude. A successful history of working within a start-up would be beneficial but is not mandatory.
Applicants must be prepared to travel extensively within their defined region.
