Hess Associates is seeking a Android Mobile Games App Developer for a client based in Seattle, WA.
The client is an exciting Seattle entertainment and marketing company where you can play games at work! Their reach extends to millions of customers on a daily basis.
Bring along your ideas and skills and competitive energy in android mobile development and and work with an exciting and winning team of creative players.
Duties:
• Create software design documentation based on gaming requirements
• Utilize best practices such as OOD, unit and automated testing, and use of appropriate standards
• Mentor other software engineers as required
• Perform code reviews
Qualifications:
• Senior android mobile software development engineer with at least one published app (smartphone and/or tablet)
• B.Sc. Computer Science preferred – or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years Java development, source control systems experience
• Experience with Android GUI and Native Development
• Linux/Unix, Agile environment background
• Strong team player with excellent English communication skills
Nice to haves:
• iOS, JavaScript, HTML5
• Smartphone game development background
