Resume' Help

Since June 2006, MobileIN.com Career Center powered by MobileWirelessJobs has been one of the first online recruitment portals to distribute Candidate and Employer profile online recruitment video content in an RSS Podcast feed. Candidate XML Podcast feeds are not publicly available mainly because they prefer to keep their profiles confidential and lean on MobileWirelessJobs to forward their videos to appropriate employers based on a matching of their resume with a client's open job requisition. However, we currently have the largest database of Candidate Online Video recruitment content segmented by skill set, education, industry experience and location in the Mobile Wireless industry.

Please be advised that we do not maintain a traditional text resume database in our career center. Think of the Podcast Video Resume as a canned interview. This is your chance to get seen by employers and executive recruiters before text resume candidates are pre-screened over the phone. With your Podcast Resume Video, you won’t simply rehash your resume, but rather succinctly detail your unique qualifications in your industry.

Here are some Candidate Online Resume Video Podcast tips:

• Don't simply rehash your normal resume

• Include only your first name and hometown. Do not include any other contact details. Employers will contact us and we'll notify you of their interest. If you agree to be contacted, we will then (and only then) release your contact details

• Discuss how you’ve overcome work challenges and include the specific challenges you faced and your unique solution

• Discuss how many direct reports you may have managed or projects you were given (backed with numerical data)

• Discuss what budget(s) you were responsible for

• Discuss why you feel that position you seek is the right fit for you and related topics

Employers

Mobile Wireless Employers are now encouraged to send us to their Online Corporate Videos and we will Podcast this content for Candidates to review. Although they are not a client, here is a sample Corporate Online Recruitment Video created by Google which we feel is one of the best available today:

If you have an online video already, please post it on YouTube and email us a .txt file of your HTML code. We will not only Podcast the content on MobileWirelessJobs but create a Featured Employer Page dedicated to your company for Candidates to learn more. This is a brand new initiative at MobileWirelessJobs!
