Senior Digital Marketing Manager

This position is responsible for leading the North American digital marketing efforts for Glu Mobile. In this role you will build web and wap traffic by creating compelling online and mobile marketing programs. You will develop and manage a relationship marketing system which will underpin all our direct marketing efforts throughout the customer lifecycle, from awareness and consideration to trial, purchase, loyalty and extension phases. As an integral member of our Digital Marketing team, you will be responsible for the creation of a comprehensive digital marketing strategy complimenting our business and marketing objectives. You will work with domestic and international creative and technical teams coordinating and evangelizing web and mobile marketing innovation throughout the organization. Experience with direct-to-consumer marketing programs that leverage SMS, WAP, E-mail and online storefronts required.

Responsibilities:
• Provide leadership, vision and direction for the overall digital marketing team
• Create, design and deploy online and mobile marketing campaigns
• Manage the design and creation of digital creative (shortcodes, emails, wap and web banner ads, flash media, etc.)

Product Manager

The product manager is responsible for both product & brand management functions across multiple titles and/or brands. Primary responsibilities include strategic planning, product guidance, marketing plans, partner relations, channel marketing and sales support.

EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s degree required. Emphasis in business or marketing preferred. MBA a plus.

DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Partner with Product Development to tailor product design and scope to meet market needs. Create Market Requirement Document.
• Develop and execute marketing plans, including all promotional activities (advertising, web marketing, channel marketing, promotions and more), for multiple products. Work with internal (marketing communications) and external resources (agencies) to execute plans. Track and analyze programs.

• Manage licensor relationships to maintain effective communications, gain approvals of marketing materials and maximize co-marketing opportunities.

WORK EXPERIENCE:
• Minimum of 3-5 years relevant marketing experience, 2+ years in product management or product marketing preferred. Prefer entertainment experience from mobile, online, or game industries. New product launch experience required.
• Must possess a strong work ethic and enjoy working in an extremely fast paced environment.
• Must possess the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the business (i.e., sales, development, administration and marketing).
• Ability to manage multiple tasks unsupervised.
• Experience in a “startup-like” work environment a plus.
