Job Description:
As part of the global Product Marketing organization, you will be responsible for defining effective and innovative positioning and messaging for our client’s Communications Network Management product portfolio.
The positioning shall encompass our client’s Communications vision in the Communication Service Providers market for the long term and must take into account a realistic assessment of our client’s Communications Network Management business line execution readiness and competitor’s strengths and weaknesses. The positioning must take into account potential inter-dependencies with the rest of our client’s Communications business lines such as Customer Experience Management and Test & Optimization.
Job Responsibilities
• Identify and define the Customer Perceived Value of our client’s Communications Network Management solutions.
• Develop messaging and positioning for products and solutions with compelling and unique business value propositions.
• Create value-based marketing collaterals and sales tools to support business activities such as datasheets, whitepapers, use cases studies, presentations, demonstration scripts, and website content.
• Develop and deliver sales training and enablement tools such Business Case, ROI and Value Assessment questionnaire.
• Support promotion and evangelize solution value proposition to the market via events, webinars, and other communications channels.
• Analyze the Communication Service Provider market in terms of business drivers, market size and segmentation and new technology adoption cycle.
• Analyze the Service Assurance market, especially the probe-based monitoring segment, in terms of players, competitive differentiators, network management paradigm shift, and regional trends.
• Support the development of programs that increase market awareness and demand generation.
Job Requirements
• 3 to 5 years minimum experience with Business-to-Business (B2B) in a high-technology industry.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in self-driven content creation marketing role.
• Understanding of the Communications Service Providers market is a plus.
• Proven track record of hands-on developing high quality marketing materials.
• A strong ‘Do what it takes!’, ‘Details count!’, ‘Results count!’ and ‘Continuous Improvement!’ attitude and behavior is expected.
• Commitment to quality and on-time delivery.
• Strong writing/communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to articulate effectively value proposition to technical and business audiences.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Interviewing skills to draw information from and challenge Subject Matter Experts.
• Team player, collaboration and leadership skills, and great interpersonal skills.
• BS or BA minimum.
• 3 to 5 years minimum experience with Business-to-Business (B2B) in a high-technology industry.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in self-driven content creation marketing role.
• Knowledgeable in Telecommunications networks such as 2.5G, 3G, 4G and fixed networks (broadband) and IP Technology is a plus.
